Doesn't anyone want to talk about these spoilers?
Specifically the spoiler about Jill and her "shocking" choice of bedmate. When they say "shocking" they mean a female, right? Not that I'd be shocked, I think that scenario is entirely plausible.
I have a theory. ABC is/was close to axing this series, right? ABC decides to give us three more episodes after axing the original writing team/exec producers and then finding Robert Nathan to come on board as the new show runner. ABC then decides to give the series a chance by putting it on at a more viewer friendly night (Tuesday at 10). But ABC forgot WMC would be up against juggernaut SVU and its 200th episode (not that that should make any difference. It's been a long time since SVU was worth watching).
Am I then alone in thinking that ABC'll have to pull out all stops to drag in a core audience? And am I alone in thinking that the quickest and easiest way to do this is to pull out the old tried and true lesbian storyline?
Coming back to my original question, if Jill's bedmate is going to be female - and in a ratings grab, could it be anything but? - I'm going to cartwheel and happy dance for an entire week!!! The thought of competent, flirty, sex crazy Jill in a passionate embrace with a woman just about sends me into delirium. Yahooo!!!
Anyone else have an opinion?
