I do love The Waltons and have been watching reruns on Hallmark Channel at 7am weekdays for as long as they've been on. Now I hear they are replaced by Murder She Wrote. I like that show too but not as much as The Waltons. I want The Waltons back as soon as possible. I also would like to know what the actors are doing now. I know several have passed away but the younger ones must still be around some place. I love them all.

I thought Hallmark channel was going to run the whole series in the mornings, now instead Murder She Wrote is on. Really dissappointed that they stopped airing the show before the end.

I agree.I'm very upset that they took it off. I start my day watching The Waltons before work and there's still a couple of epp that I wanted to see and signed up for reminders so I wouldn't miss them and now I won't get to see them I'm sending Hallmark an e-mail and let them know how dissapointed I am.Maybe they'll put them back on.

I, along with many others, would like for "The Waltons" to be put back on TV. We would like "Hallmark" to air this show regularly. It is a winner and we want to see it. It is good and wholesome TV (hard to find) nowadays.
PLEASE AIR THE WALTONS!!!! WE WANT THE WALTONS!!!

Just in case anyone is wondering, The Waltons is now available on DVD by season (Season 1, Season 2, etc.) Some seasons are combined in box sets. Check your local video store or go online. Movies Unlimited has them. Amazon most likely would too. As for fairly up-to-date info on the current status of the actors - google The Waltons and check out the home page of the official site. Sometimes it's less expensive buying per season. The box sets, for the most part, don't really give much of a discount. This way you can watch over and over again, without the withdrawal. Hope this helps a little.

Richard Thomas is also doing voiceovers for a car company. I forget which one but you can definetly tell it is him. Amazon.com has all the dvd's currently available. Season 5 came out in May and I am anxiously awaiting Season 6. Nobody shows The Waltons on tv anymore and I have been boycotting Hallmark ever since they announced they were taking it off. Please write in support of returning it to the air on Hallmark. Thanks!!
