VIVA LAUGHLIN GETS CANCELLED
I felt entirely vindicated by the LA TIMES announcement today: "Prime-time deathwatch: 'Viva Laughlin' has sung its final note. The fall TV season has claimed its first new scripted-series victim." Well, I told you it was bad. That must be a new record for cancellations - 2 shows air in 4 days and no one bothers to watch....OOPS!!

How can you pull a new show off the air after only two episodes? First of all, your first episode took the place of a show that I like and tape. First impressions is (what the hell is this?)This is not what I wanted to watch. "Fast forward" but, I took a five minute glance and decided to watch it. It was different, entertaining and good. Most viewers, not getting what they wanted would change the channel...I would too, but it was on my tape and I got curious. Your second show on Sunday, I missed because I didn't see my tape until Monday. I was trying to program this in on Tivo but it wasn't there. What a waste! If you don't like a show, don't air it and waste my time. Remember what happened to Star Trek? I guess that's why I watch the History and Discovery channels more these days!

I watched it, it wasn't as bad as some of the other shows being aired.....carpoolers, cavemen....

What's up with only 2 episodes? I thought it was refreshing and cute, not another crime drama or alot of violence. Why don't networks give shows a chance anymore? Guess it doesn't pay to try to be different...

Viva Laughlin was a great show. It was fun, and I liked the singing and dancing. There wasn't really enough of it for anyone to complain, in my opinion. My husband even liked it, and he generally doesn't like those kind of shows.
I told everyone I knew to watch it, after it was on last Sunday! They'll never get a chance to even have an opinion, as it was pulled before the next show.
Another poor move by CBS...
