Bobbie's personal life
Law and Order is all I watch on tv. Intent is my favorite, although I love them all and very involved with the charactors on each series.
Yet it is Bobbie Goren that I am most drawn too. His charactor can walk into a room where I am and know so much about me before I even say hello. That intrigues me.
The thing that I want to know is everything about this Bobbie Goren. He reveals next to nothing about his self.
Does Bobbie have kids? Is he or was he ever married? Maybe he lives with his mother. I remember in one of the series he mentioned her. Could he be gay? If so he is still an amazing Detective, along with his partner,of course.
How does Hollywood do it? They always seem to put the perfect people together. Like svu. Huray for Elliot and Olivia. They are great too. I like that they let us into their personal lives and their past. It make's their charactors more realistic.
Bobbie Goren though, is an enigma. I like that, but something inside me want's to know more. Can't he give us a hint from time to time about his life away from his work? He does say some things. But I want to know more about Bobbie, the man.

Last night we were watching SVU and Olivia left Elliot. With all the reruns and they don't play them in order, I am wondering where she goes.
Does she go with the FBI? Or does she just get another partner on the force and take a break from Elliot?
My son works at clothing store in Manhattan. Today he calls me to tell me He caught Olivia in time to say hi as she is leaving the store with her daughter.
So now I know where she went. She went shopping!!!!! Good for her.
She is such an incredible Character. All I can say is I pray we have honest to God true people out there like these characters. All my prayers to the men and women in law inforcement. Good Lord, give them the strength to go on.

One of the hardest things to accept is that Bobby is an enigma for a reason. We know little about him, so that every morsel the writers throw out to us, we quickly swallow.
I think that is part of the charm of Bobby. I know that this year we will see more of their personal lives, but I would still want his character to be somewhat of an unknown.
We know he has a temper; we know he doesn't like being wrong; and we know that he did date before he became a detective. I know I don't want to see him date anyone--the dynamic of Eames/Goren would change too much. That slow dance of respect/humor/understanding has taken six years to put together, and I really wouldn't like to see that changed too much.
Do you think they executed Brady? I think if Brady is Bobby's father, he will go into a downward spiral, and that might me interesting. With his morther gone, the stressors add up to some difficult and stressful times for our Bobby. I do look forward to seeing more of Tony Goldwyn as Frank, and their interaction. And if Nicole should pop in, now that would make a GREAT year!
CI is now on a channel that resepcts it and is publicizing it beautifully--Surprisingly, TV Guide does not show CI as a new show, or an old show. Another snub from TVG!

I agree they do not give to much on Bobbie but, they did have the episode with his brother and there was the episode when his mother was in the hospital so, they did give us a little on Bobbie!
