RANT
Television programming has hit an all time low.
I wonder what the IQ level is of those who watch it.
The news isn't new or accurate. The good reporters have been fired by Bush's influence. Now Television thinks celebrities are news. NO, they are NOT!
They are barely worth a brief mention.
I don't know which I detest more soap operas or serials. Neither are worth my
time. The acting is horrible. Noone I know speaks or acts like this. The plot isn't believable.
For the first time in years I bought a TV Guide for my son, sick in the hospital for this season's premier shows.
I tuned just one in.........don't know which. I was absolutely appalled at the subject matter. Disrespect, sex, gossip, drivel, trival. I haven't returned.
The cable shows are sports, food, domestic dumbness and more sports.
Football is so audacious that they can bleed into any other programming. I say the winner wins when their TV time is up. Shut them down. Shut them up. Shut them off. Who cares.
TV, I believe has a great deal to do with the dumbing of the US. The US is no longer #1 country in the world.
While you all were playing with the remote we lost first place and the worst President in US history stole the election! Meanwhile, several countries have passed us up in Education and Health Care.
Congratulations! Keep that remote close and watch how ignorant you can really become.
