Moonlight

rf-moonlight.jpg
Returns: Friday, April 25, at 9 pm/ET (CBS)

Number of new episodes: 4

Where we left off: Private eye vampire Mick St. John saw his fanged friend Josef survive an assassination attempt. Mick's ex Coraline, who turned him into a bloodsucker in 1947, gave him a cure that made him temporarily mortal— and ready to cozy up to reporter Beth Turner. But Beth might not succumb: After all, when her boyfriend was gunned down, Mick refused to save him by turning him into one of the living dead.

What's next: "We've always suspected that there are doctors, lawyers, housewives and garbagemen who live among us as vampires," executive producer Harry Werksman says. "We are going to explore that universe as Mick enjoys the pleasures of being human." Viewers will also learn more about Mick's past and watch him struggle to win back Beth. "As that happens we're going to introduce a romantic foil who makes her wonder if being with a human isn't the way to go," adds executive producer Gabrielle Stanton.

Dead again: Mick won't have a heartbeat much longer. "As his vampirism returns, he'll have a much better understanding of his powers," Werksman says. "Where he once looked at it as a curse, by the end of the season, Mick will realize that being undead is something he can live with."

I can't wait for this show to come back on. If Moonlight is not renewed for a second season, it would be a shame. It is one of the best shows for fans that like this sort of entertainment.

Well it sounds really interesting...I can understand the downside, not being able to eat having to sleep in a freezer...but the upside is never dying, never getting sick etc...
We just need CBS to renew the series so we can explore all the possibities

This is the first show in a long time where I really look forward to getting my "fix" of Mick St. John. It's funny how everyone talks about McDreamy and McSteamy from Grey's..but this McStJohn is the hottest guy to hit T.V. in years. Keep the episodes coming and I will be a loyal fan (and recruiting more watchers all time!). ooh la la.

I think Moonlight is one of the best shows to come on TV. It has everything, romance, danger, fear, hate, emotions all over the place. The leading man is the sexiest star to come to the TV. Please lets keep this show as we have kept 24 which is also one of the best shows around. songbird:-x

I have loved Moonlight from the very first episode and have not missed a show. Moonlight was voted as #1 in its category on the Peoples Choice Awards. I can not believe there is even a discussion about not having another season. I love Alex O'Loughlin. He makes his character real with a mix of vulnerability and strength in wanting to help others. The charisma between Mick and Beth is fantastic. I hope CBS wises up and keeps this great show on their schedule.

This show should not be cancelled.
It's one of the most entertaining shows
CBS has right now. With all the stress
in our everyday lives, fantasy is so
important. For one hour we can escape
our troubles and just enjoy the story.

I love this show, and I'm anxiously awaiting its return on April 25. It's my favorite show. As songbird said, "This show has everything, romance, danger, fear, hate, emotions all over the place." It also has love, action, and wry humor. And per songbird, the show has one of the sexiest leading men to come to T.V.

The show also has the vampire mystique and the paradox of the "good vammpire" along with the voice over of the old Detective shows from the 50's. I really hope they renew this show next year.

Moonlight is a wonderful show with a great lead actor, Alex O'Loughlin.
Hopefully the TPTB will realize that there is a passionate audience out
there waiting for Mick St John to return. The blood drive is proof of
the love the fans have for this show & this actor. Please give us our
Second Season!
