Ghost Whisperer
Returns: Friday, April 4, at 9 pm/ET (CBS)
Number of new episodes: 6
Where we left off: Lured to a haunted underground city by the spirit of her presumed dead dad (Martin Donovan), Melinda narrowly escaped a cave-in, and hubby Jim became very protective.
What's next: Melinda encounters a bunch of kids living in a house that might be haunted. "And we're going to find out more about the old town that Grandview is built on, a city condemned hundreds of years ago because of a plague that one woman was blamed for," says creator John Gray. "It's become Evil Spirits Central, a repository for the toxic dead who want to stay on earth and get revenge." As Melinda struggles with these dark forces, he adds, "We are going to get a really big surprise about Melinda's lineage."
Who's that girl?: Melinda's anonymity may be compromised by a pesky blogger who's gotten hold of the journal that science professor Rick Payne is keeping about her ability. "The blogger desperately needs something from Melinda," Gray says. "The threat is that he will out her as the Ghost Whisperer."

Is the show getting a new timeslot? It normally airs at 8/7C. Is this just a typo?

Ok, what time is this actually coming on tonite? This says 9, I have a returning favorites calendar that I got from TVguide for the month of April that says 9, but when I see the tv listing on tvguide.com for tonite it shows it coming on at 8, then at 9 is the Price is Right. On my knology it shows that it's going to be on at 8 too. Is it going to be on at it's regular time slot at 8 or is it going to be on at a new time of 9. ?

It is 8 here in sunny and hot Florida as well. I suspect that when the magazine was published and the above written, the time was 9. The episode previews looked a tad dark and it might have been better suited to 9. But the CBS execs juggled The Price is Right and this at the last minute, sandwiching TPR between this and Numb3rs.
An odd placement, I grant you.

Ok, I'm really ill right now. At 8 I was all geared up to watch GW. Got about 10 minutes into it & whammo, the stupid weather came on. It was in flippin Opelika, then it went North, towards Harris County. Needless to say, I didn't see but maybe 10 minutes or so of GW. Finally a new show that I like comes on & stupid weather interrupts it. We couldn't have bad weather (which we still have yet to see, not a drop of rain or any clouds) during one of the five million reality shows???? COME ON!!! I've gone to CBS.com to see about watching this episode, but it's not showing that GW is even on there. I'm hoping that it will be on there it's just not on there right now b/c there weren't any new episodes. I am going to check back tomorrow to see if it's on there & watch it. Dang weather. I thought that was what the weather channel was for. I mean if we were getting severe weather, I'd think my cable & tv would be out, so the interruption would be senseless. Yea yea I know it's good for people that want to know what's coming, but come on, scroll it across the bottom of the screen, put it in the corner, no body puts baby in a corner...sorry, wrong show...ha ha, least I still have my humor after all that.

100% I agree with GIMPLY GUMP!! We were all geared to see GW and along comes 45 minutes of weather report. NOT FAIR!!!! Yes it is important to know that bad weather is imminemt in and around the area, but 45 minutes of it when a scroller at the bottom of the screen would do as well is TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR. We have a dish (we found it cheaper and better than Time Warner Cable) and that did not go out even though we were hit hard with clouds and rain. The network should repeat the eposide in the tine slot prior to the April 11 showing.

Actually, llamb was the one with the weather issues. That being said it's not a Network issue, it's the local affiliate.
