Finally...a show for the more mature viewers

When I say mature viewers I am not necessarily referring to one's age. What I am referring to is the fact that the majority of popular television shows seem to be geared more towards the 20-somethings. My friends and I are in the category of 30-somethings and we have completely different tastes than younger viewers. I know a lot of people, myself included, who absolutely love The Nine and watch it as religiously as any 20-something watches Heroes or Lost. The Nine is a great drama with a wonderful cast, led by popular but unbelievably underrated actor Tim Daly. The audience is challenged to try and figure out what happened before all is eventually revealed. We don't have to have thrills and chills every second in the same way that a younger audience does. For the younger viewers who thought this show was going to be about a bank robbery (and only a bank robbery) I can understand your disappointment. However, you guys have so many other choices. Us older folks (uh, the 30+ viewers) need good programming too. Keep The Nine and keep your adult audience happy.

I agree with you!
I'm in my twenties only, but I like more mature dramas better too.
I'm really not into supernatural stuff and superheroes, so I love The Nine for that.
I can totally relate to these characters.

Why hasn't Camille Guaty appeared on the cover of Maxim yet? If you want buzz (and keep it)you have to be seen in other media. What better way than those pretty eyes and dimples? I guess the same can go for Scott Wolf too. I can't understand why people are not watching. I just started doing this serialized TV thing and have only been burned by Vanished. Because they have characters I could care less about. I care about every one of The Nine and want their story to be told.

I've gotten very attached to this show over the weeks. I watch it on abc.com and was able to catch up the first two eps and from then I was hooked. I hope it gets the chance it deserves, broadcast or online.

Seems like all the really good shows are going to be available only online.
