Gough & Millar Exiting Smallville
According to Superhero Hype, Smallville producers Gough & Millar are finally leaving the show!!!
And in a classy move, they take the time to thank their accountant by name but not even a simple thank you to their cast.
It is strange, though, their decision to leave now. They fought to get season 8 and now they're leaving? Unless, they never expected to return for one more season.
Or unless they got the boot from WB which begs the question why now? That should have happened after season 4 or at least the disastrous season 6. Could it have anything to do with their attempts to get Welling for the part of Superman for JLA and the behind-the-scenes fights that took place? Now that Gough is out of the way, no more roadblocks and they won't need to pay him a penny.
