Now you all know I'm selfish and want you all to myself, but you really should check out Dave Navarro's blog. He's brutally honest and gives some insight into some of the oustings each week.
Just promise me now - that Monday-Thursday you'll come back to me. Pretty please. (If I see posts by Rain, Watcheseverything, Leah etc...on that board and not here next week, I'll have to pout.)

wow, thank U for that link!! It was awsome to get so much inside info from somebody who's on the first row watching and taking part of everything that happens in that show and I totally feel the same as Dave about Zayra...I mean you can say anything about the girl but like her or hater her at least she keeps trying to change things up and not bore this band to death like...say....mmhh Josh, Patrice... I think that the only contestant which wouldn't bore me if she decides to do the same each week would be Dilana, 'cause I mean how much better can you get ?
If Dave & Patrice's give and take on Tuesday show when on for like 10 minutes as he says I would've prefered to watch that instead of Ryan or Josh's performance, man I loved when Dave put her in her place !!!
And U know David, altho I'm new and all, posting comments here I must say I've been reading them for a long time and now that I'm finally taking part on them I wouldn't leave these blogs for no Dave Navarro.

Do you ever read the rockers blogs? I read them all a week or so ago when i was bored, and zayra didn't seem near as crazy as she looks/acts/sings on stage.

Thanks for the link to Dave's blog! Have you read it today? He mentions this clip on youtube, which is more footage from Phil's ousting:

I'm assuming it was leaked by someone at CBS (if not Supernova themselves) because it has timecode on it and who else would have this footage, and it fully explains their reason to get rid of Phil. (Though, I would argue that his performance was the worst of the three, and he deserved to go home anyway.)

Thank you for the link myyear - I hadn't seen it yet, though I heard that happened from a few people who were at the taping. It's interesting to see for the first time.
Tom - thanks for chiming in - glad to have you aboard.
Leah - I read the rockers blogs now and again - but I try to avoid them since I don't know if I'm reading their version or the edited version. My editors add URL's and make my sound good when it appears I wrote the blog in a drunken state but never do they eliminate sentences or change the meaning of my blog. I can't support whatever is going on over there on the rockers blogs (if it truly is going down like the rumor has it).

hmm. Well, I've heard about the editing and i guess it shouldn't surprise me. I mean, we all know the rockers don't actually sit down at a computer and type those things out. They write them out an then give them to someone else to post. it'd be very easy for someone to cut stuff out.

David, we would never leave you! I'm on vacation next week so I won't be able to watch and write about the shows(figured I'd give you some warning so you don't think I've left you for the other Dave). Thank God for Tivo, if I didn't have it I might never be able to take vacation! Thanks for the link, I just love Dave Navarro. I did however feel like I was reading an ad for The Panic Channel. Of course, I now have August 7th programmed into my head as the release date, so Dave really knows what he's doing! I'll have to look for a store while I'm traveling so I can pick it up. How was the webisode today?

David - I, too, was reading your blog before I started commenting ... and I would never leave here for Dave's, though I will visit him from time to time. What's up the webisode this week? It's not loaded correctly? It's the same re-cap from last week over and over ... Silly me - I thought the shows were live (like Idol) ... Phil is both creepy and an idiot - and gone, thank goodness!

Duh - never mind. Watching the reality episode now ... and it's great hearing Jason's comments! And how surprised the singers are that Zayra is still around - I like her graciousness, though, as she acknowledges her good fortune.

Thanks for mentioning me of all people, Dave... no chance of me making you pout, however. Navarro's an executive producer, so he'll have to forgive me if I don't take as gospel the fox's report on the state of henhouse security.
Random closing thought: Rockstar: Queen probably wouldn't work, since there's just no replacing Freddie, but I think Rockstar: Van Halen could fly. DLR & Sammy were different enough to prove that VH doesn't need a signature frontman sound. (This, of course, assumes that VH actually needs a frontman atm.)

I just watched the unaired clip and you could the panic in Phil's eye when Dave started reading the clip.
I'm glad Phil's gone, too. Like Jason, I never liked his lanky, wiggly frontman schtick. It's unfortunate, too, since he showed promise on White Rabbit.
