This has got to be the best new show on TV this season! I think it is how the average American feels, but shows the two extreme ends of the spectrum! If this show even thinks about going off the air, I am going to kick butt and take names.

i agree, this show is incredible. i almost missed it, but my tivo caught the re-airing and i am soooooo glad! minnie is SUCH a good actor. i mean her coming out of the prison like that. she's just incredible. the previews of the whole season look insane too! i am with you...i sooo hope they don't cancel it. it's leaps and bounds better than nip tuck. glad the shield is coming back soon though too.

I agree, The Riches is a geat new show.
And yes, Minnie Driver adds a certain flair to the show, she's talented and she's beautiful and how lucky is she to be up close and personal with The Great Eddie Izzard!! He is the reason I tuned in for the first episode and, like always, he didn't let me down.
Well done to you Eddie.

My opinion: the story line is low. The negativity of this whole program is outstanding. I find the program a template for a loser mentality. Anything upbeat out there?
The stars are however, good at what they are doing. I would expect no less from Minnie Driver and Izzard.

Alrightie then!!! I hoped this group would consist of fans of the show. Let's not blow out someones candle to make yours burn brighter, okay?
Anyway, What do you guys think - Minnie gonna put the needle down? Eddie gonna fake his way through "Lawyer Land" sucessfully tomorrow?

I have been VERY impressed with this show. It's very rare that I pick up on a new show. The last one that grabbed me this way was 24. Honestly, before I watched the first episode I knew almost nothing about The Riches other than Izzard was one of the leads. Before the 1st one was finished I was already telling my family that I would be recording them all.
I was only familiar with Izzard's stand up work. I guess I was expecting a comedy. SO glad it wasn't. The performances have been excellent, and the writing has been good, and nothing like an other show.
I particularly love the family dynamic. The scenes between Eddie Izzard/Minnie Driver are excellent and I love what the 'kids' have to do in this show. Roles like that for young actors don't come along very often.

I love the Riches, too. I'm a dental hygienist and the scene where she played one was absolutely hilarious!

It comes back March 18th and is on Tuesday's at 10PM. I'm so excited - I've missed this quirky lil show so much. I can't wait to see what happens too w/ Peter and Dale - the last episode was intense...

You Betcha! I'd never really even heard of this channel before Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver graced theirselves to this station and this Wonderful, Intelligent and highly amusing series. It will be a sad day when this station does not renew their show. Bad on Ya...People will know!

 The best show of the year is on tonight @9pm(dst)and it's called The Riches. The Comedy/Drama with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver deliver the goods, as they take over a familys life in Louisiana. It's on FX

 Last nights show was FANTASTIC!What's going to happen to Dahlia? Cael did the right thing, but out of character for the family. It gets better and better with each show.

I really liked Cael's dialogue and Noel's performance in that scene. He was like "It was me. Ok? I did it. Ok? Alright? We done here? Were all set? Ok - good talk." Or something like that - it was tooo funny. And you're right about it being out of character for the family. It's interesting to see where they draw the line in terms of ethics at times....

What a joy to have this group of crazy people back! I'm looking forward to "The Riches: The Video Game" just to have them around all the time. However, fantastic the situation or tense or creepy or ridiculous the circumstance, this is the hour I look forward to the most on TV. Oh, and bring back Chunky Kay. Please?

Have you guys been watching? I swear every episode this season gets better and better. Eddie's drama with the PI is so intense - I love how he and Sam and Dale pulled off the ole "switcheroo"! And Dahlia has been stressing me out - I know Wayne disapproves of her going to see a parole office but tell him already pls!
