Sam and Andi /Yay or Nay?

samandandi.jpg
Andi FINALLY let it drop that she has feelings for 'ol Sammy boy and of course he's still technically with maybe-devil's spawn Cady.

The question is, are they a good couple and now that Sam is fully aware of the consequences of being a reaper will they get together? (AKA will the writers drag out this love story for seasons?)

Andy, I think, is getting closer to finding everything out. How she will react is up for conjecture.

I do hope they don't drag the story out and I hope they drop Candy. However I do think THIS is how Andi will discover the whole kit and caboodle.

Candy will be upset, and well, she may not be the devil's spawn, but she probably is a demons ½ child whether she realizes it or not.

That side will come out when she discovers Andi "stole her man".

"Hell hath no fury..." and all that rot!

As for the trio's friendly neighbor demons, I can't wait to see the reaction from Ben and Sock now that all is in the open.

Sock: "Suck any good souls today"
Tom: "We don't do that"
Sock: "Well your gay demons, so I just assumed."

I was against them as a couple initially, but they way Sam looked when Andi was all banged up was so priceless and heartfelt. I do hope they make it.

TV "coupledom" is most often compelling when star-crossed lovers are kept apart. The tragic, unfulfilled desire yields shared yearning between the audience and the protagonist. If new show Welcome to the Captain has a prayer, it is thinly hanging on the unrequitted love Josh has for Hope. Friends was phenomonally better when Ross and Rachel could not get to one another. So too, Reaper works when Sam pines for Andi but has to focus on his "work" anyway. Not sure why that is, maybe something base like "If I cannot have Canadian beauty Missy Peregrym, neither should Sam." I hope the writers realize that on Reaper, it is what Sam and Andi do not share that really traps souls.
