March 19, 2007: Panama
Well it’s down to the last two episodes, and while I’m going to miss being glued to the TV for a thrilling hour every Monday night, I’m definitely anxious to see how it will all go down. A good guess would be that we’ll be saying bye-bye to at least three more people (Kim? Kellerman? Another prostitute who won’t realize the danger in calling Susie Q a bitch?). Then again, my track record of predictions on Prison Break isn’t something to brag about. So that’s where you all come in.
Now, what on earth was Michael thinking? After finally reaching the last step to set them free, he just ditched Lincoln and Christina Rose to run into town and risk everything. He’s got to have some idea that someone will be coming after him. He knows Mahone is always surprisingly one step behind him, and Kim is probably not too far. And besides, I just can’t believe he didn’t once doubt it was actually Sucre sending him a message on europeangoldfinch.net. Wouldn’t there be a “Papi” in there? That ending scene with Linc alone on the boat yelling, “Michael? Michael!?” was just fantastic.
Of course, while mentioning fantastic scenes, how about that fight? It wasn’t all that shocking — boys will be boys — and sometimes they beat each other up when things don’t go their way. Plus, maybe it was fun for them to pretend like they were kids again and show some good old-fashioned brotherly love by wrestling. Although Michael had a right to be hurt when Lincoln told him he never asked to be rescued from prison, Lincoln wins in the loss-of-a-love department. It was interesting to see their different perspectives butt heads: Michael only saw the negative and felt guilty about Sara and about T-Bag on the loose, while Lincoln could “look for the good” and appreciate the chance at a new life. For me, their relationship is one of the key elements to this show and it stems all the way back to that look they shared when they saw each other at Fox River for the first time.
A certain element that’s been missing from the last few episodes was back in full swing tonight — Mahone’s tattoo-decoding game. It’s just so crazy watching the way he slowly unfolds every little detail that Michael has so cleverly come up with. But he was finally wrong: It wasn’t about who Christina Rose was but what and where it was, which was a great twist. Don’t laugh, but for a second there I really thought their mother was actually still alive somehow. I couldn’t remember the story of when she died, plus on this show you just never know.
One more thing about Mahone — I loved, loved him sitting on the floor staring at all those Post-its and photos, muttering, “Where the hell did you go, Michael?” It looked like he’d totally lost it, which seemed like karma laughing in his face. Then bam, he got a quick flash of a triangle and he comes back full swing. Runner-up for my favorite Mahone moment was when he confronted Wheeler in the parking lot. Check out TVGuide.com’s recent Q&A with William Fichtner, who always entertains me whether he’s playing the mental case Mahone, the badass agent Mahone or the cold-blooded killer Mahone.
Sara gets the “take one for the team” award tonight by turning herself in and keeping the boys safe. So much for Sara and Michael sailing off into the sunset. I’m really curious whether these two will be reunited before the inevitable cliff-hanger comes our way.
With C-Note, I’m not sure if we can believe he’s actually free and safe quite yet, but it’s the least of my concerns. He did have a very sweet reunion with his wife and daughter, so at least one of the convicts is close to happily ever after.
Bellick and Sucre sure make for one funny team. I thought Bellick was a dead man when he told Sucre that his sweet little plum would dry up like a raisin. And then Sucre had his moment with, “I hate this gringo, but I need him.” The best had to be seeing them both running after T-Bag and the cab and that bag of cash. I wonder how much money is actually left in there? For more on Bellick's future on PB, check out the TVGuide.com blog written by Wade Williams.
So now T-Bag is in Panama, too. It’s a safe assumption that Kim sent him there to track down the brothers, since Kim told Mahone there was a change in strategy after casually mentioning T-Bag was apprehended in Mexico. So what was up with the guy with a gun who kept nodding at T-Bag while he was shopping around for just the right girl? Does Sona have a connection to Panama? And are we ever going to find out who the heck the bald guy is — besides being the only person to make Kim feel inferior?
Lastly, spoiler alert! (Don’t say I didn’t warn you; stop reading if you don’t want to know.) Did you see who’s been cast in the potential Grey’s Anatomy spin-off? Does that mean his character is for sure a goner?

Well T-bag did it again....killed another person with only one hand. so far I counted 7. It was the Vet, the hitchiker dad, that one dude who he got his new arm from, the other hack whose name i cant think of, the therapitst and now the hooker. I dont remember if he killed or injured the guy he attacked in the airport.. And I have a feeling that Im forgotting someone that he killed.
Its about time that balk guy talks. I was starting to wonder if he could or not. And why was baldy and Kim in a boat? And who is he...is he the head dude in charge? Im thinking SONA has something to do with Linc and Micheal being in Panama.
Bellick and Sucre were funny together. I also want to see more scenes with them as well. I also think that C-note is not nessarily safe. I knew that wasnt Sucre getting in touch with Micheal. And who was that guy nodding to T-bag? So many questions....I hope they answer some of these questions before this season is over.

I think the guy with the gun who was nodding when T-Bag was with the hookers was just the chick's pimp...

This show continues to amaze me at how it can keep so many story lines going, yet they all seem to tie in and it doesn't get confusing.
I got confused then they said T-Bag was aprehended but then showed him out and about, so I too assumed he was working for the "other side" for a while. Still, T-Bag is the nastiest, creepiest guy on TV these days.
Michael's conscience is going to get him in trouble. But it's good to see that he has one.
Can't wait for the next two episodes, but sad that it means we won't have this show for a while.
And one last thing, I know I HATED William Fichtner when he first started, but now I am a complete convert. He's great, and the role is just perfect for him.

Morning y'all,
Last night was a great episode... As always with this show...
Ok, I have an idea on SONA... I was thinking it might stand for "Sale of Nuclear Arms/Arsenial(sp)"... I have been trying to figure out what the letters can stand for and I figure with it being high enough to involve the prez and the company, then it has to be something big... Lord knows, but I couldn't think of anything else to fit the letters... And heck, I can be totally off base, but it is a suggestion...
Linc should have known better that Michael, with all his guilt he expressed and his anger for letting T-Bag on the loose, he was gonna go after him!!! No doubt there... Let's see how it boils down...
And with the posting that Mahone was doing... Why didn't Michael think twice when he saw the "I'll see you soon" and relate it to Mahone... Mind you, I know he doesn't know that Mahone knows about the site, but still, he has heard Mahone tell him that. Just a thought...
I guess Sarah isn't going to be kidnapped... I guess they are going to have to get her out of jail next season along with exposing the conspiracy (sp)....
Ok, did anyone else root for the bald, now talking, guy to sink Kim in the water??? I was hollering at the TV for him to do it... Meanwhile, the hubby was looking at me like I was nuts! Go figure! But I'd still rather see Linc take him out... But it was a nice thought tho!
Speaking of the now talking bald guy... Does anyone remember any clues from the first season as to who in the heck he is??
C-Note... Good to see something turn out nice for one of the cons... I thought it was ironic when he was looking back at the doors with the look of "wow, this is what it is like to actually leave this place through the doorway"... Anyone else notice that?
Sucre and Bellick... LoL! They make a heck of a team... They play the good cop bad cop thing pretty well! Sucre pleads with the people and Bellick bullies the people... Wonder how all of that is gonna go down...
A poster asked if he/she missed a person T-Bag killed... You forgot the postal lady (can't remember her name)... But he killed her too... My question is, you know this scumbag (no offense intended to Robert) is out on the loose killing people and your main concern is Michael and Linc... Shows where your priorities are...
And T-bag has to be working for Mahone and Kim... The guy with the gun? Maybe a pimp? Maybe someone from the company? Considering he was caught in Mexico and now is in Panama... Regardless, it is just a trap... T-bag is there, Sucre is on his way (with Bellick) and now Michael is coming... Mahone and company can take out 3 of the convicts cause there is no extridication (sp) laws... I just don't know...
And I am so not wanting this season to end... I don't think my nails will make it through the cliff hangers...
Anyhow... Till I think of something else, or until next week... Bye...
PS. Sorry so long a post... Just a lot in my mind about this show...

I can not believe that there are only 2 more eppys left
I am not sure how the show will end this season but I am enjoying the ride! I can not wait to see what happens. I am not looking forward to some of the characters going away. I am sad that Sara gave herself up. I really wanted to see her and Michael sail away but that would be too easy.

I was under the impression that the guy with the gun was with the company. When they mentioned T-Bag being apprehended in Mexico, I think they were right. Kim's guys, or the feds, picked him up and had him go to Panama, knowing that Michael was there. I think he's being used as bait for Michael and Sucre.
I'm not sure what it has to do with hookers in Panama, but that's just the impression I had.
Possible Spoiler if you missed the previews, but I thought I caught a clip of Kellerman all dressed up in his military uniform with a gun to his head. If he commits suicide, that would explain the actors leap to GA. Which is fine by me since he's a great actor and good looking to boot!

Ok, so maybe I missed this. I assumed when Kim said T-bag had been apprehended that they spotted him, but didn’t catch him….cuz why wouldn’t they show that?? Then they show him in Panama and I thought “Well how in the hell did he get there..?” LOL, I didn’t even make the connection that Kim made a deal with him to get Michael. This is why I have you guys!! But ok, where is the 5 million dollars now?? And yeah, the guy waving and nodding to T-bag had me confused….. And I never thought I’d feel bad for hookers LOL.
JustMe33020 – hello again!!
<< Ok, did anyone else root for the bald, now talking, guy to sink Kim in the water??? I was hollering at the TV for him to do it... Meanwhile, the hubby was looking at me like I was nuts! Go figure! But I'd still rather see Linc take him out... But it was a nice thought tho >>
LOL, I was shouting for the bald guy to either shoot him or drown him too!! We still don’t know who the bald guy is; just that he seems to be the man in charge of the Company. And I’m still fuzzy on SONA but I’m gonna stop thinking about it cuz I doubt we find out what it is before the finale anyway…and I don’t need extra stress :-P
That boat was beautiful!! Too bad Michael took off; I hope Linc can somehow help him; I am sooo nervous for next week But this is why I love Michael; he’s such a good soul and he knows T-bag needs to be taken care of. I just hope he figures out those postings aren’t from Sucre before Mahone gets there!
<< C-Note... Good to see something turn out nice for one of the cons... I thought it was ironic when he was looking back at the doors with the look of "wow, this is what it is like to actually leave this place through the doorway"... Anyone else notice that? >>
Yeah LOL!! It’s prolly been so long since he walked out the front door of a jail a free man – but I worry!! This could be their way of wrapping up C-note’s storyline or it’s just to make us think that until Mahone goes after him for turning him in. I hope he makes it ok.
<< Mahone and company can take out 3 of the convicts cause there is no extridication (sp) laws... I just don't know... >>
I am so worried about this too!!! No extradition laws and no US jurisdiction; it’s gonna be a blood bath!! I just hope all the blood is Kim’s!
Now, I enjoyed Michael and Linc getting physical Very sexy!! I was hoping Michael would rip off his shirt and show us that full tattoo again!! It was very nice to see it again btw. And the scene with Mahone losing his marbles while staring at tattoo pics was sooo good! William Fichtner so needs to be nominated for an Emmy; he and Michael Emerson (Lost) are sooo deserving!!
I hope Sara’s ok!! She’s with the good FBI people though so at least we know she isn’t dead. You knew Michael knew she wasn’t on the ship when she told him she loved him just before she hung up the phone. If we get anything next season, it better be a Michael/Sara love scene!! I’m such a girl
Does anyone read Wade Williams’ blog? After reading his recent posting, I wonder about all of their fates!! Losing any of the regular cast members would be devastating to me I get way too emotionally involved in these shows….but I love it!!
<< Possible Spoiler if you missed the previews, but I thought I caught a clip of Kellerman all dressed up in his military uniform with a gun to his head. If he commits suicide, that would explain the actors leap to GA. Which is fine by me since he's a great actor and good looking to boot! >>
When they glimpsed him in the military uniform, it looked like a foreign uniform, not a US one. Did anyone else catch that?

Morning Rose... Been waiting for ya!
I noticed the uniform, but I think it might be Army Rangers dress atire... I know they wear red berras (wow, messed that word up big time! LoL)...
Ok, what did you think of my SONA idea? Again, it was the only thing I could think of and that would be high up there for the prez & company...
But agreed, hopefully we will know something about it before the season ends...
The boat was real nice... Poor Linc, left to get drunk and sail away alone... I'm sure there are plenty of women out there that wanna sail with him!
Michael and Sara love scene... Jealous as it may make me, I'm game for it too!
Bye for now...

Didn't t-bag also kill the former prison guard? This is the one that Bellick was accused of killing.

nczuczu: Yes he killed Geary...
Also, didn't he kill the guard in the prison riot that Michael started in season 1?

Yes - per my count I think T-Bag is up to at least 9 kills - he killed the Fox River Guard at the hotel and that is when he grabbed the money!
Spoiler - If Paul Adelstein (Kellerman) goes to Grey's 2 it will be the second time that he and Kate Walsh were in a TV Series together. They both had guest starring roles in Turks!

And another body added to the ridiculousness that is T-Bag. If he had all that money, why didn't he just pay the hooker for another hour? It's like he had to murder her to show once again that he's psycho. Ok, we get it.
And I also really enjoyed Mahone's moment with Wheeler. Wasn't expecting the scene to go in that direction.
And who else thought that the FBI internal affairs guy was actually working for the company? I was expecting him to shoot C-Note as soon as he was out of the prison. Maybe we're done with their story for now, but I'm guessing they're not safe either.

Great show last night as always!!! However, I am confused about one thing. Did the time frame seem confusing to anyone else? I mean the brothers left CHICAGO (way up north in North America) on a Freighter and ended up in PANAMA in Central America (seemingly) just mere seconds later. Usually I suspend disbelief when watching this show, but that really stuck out as a sore thumb in last night's epi. It just doesn't flow along with the rest of the season, which seemed to be moving along pretty slowly (just about a month I think since they escaped) then suddenly everything is moving at warp speed.
I too thought the guy with the gun who was nodding at T-bag was the hooker's pimp...but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me right now.
I'm also baffled as to why they didn't show T-Bag being apprehended (if indeed he was) and how he ended up in Panama. Maybe next week they'll backtrack and fill us in on these gaps in the story.
Can't wait for next week!
