NCIS
I was so shocked last night, I could not believe what I was watching? WHY! I wonder what CBS is thinking? Where is the loyalty to the fans? Very disappointed.

This is one show our household always watches so what happened; they kill off Jenny then separated the whole TEAM! Can't say if this doesn't get FIXED the show will probably fall the way of ABC since they cancelled Womens Murder Club the only time we watched that channel

Only one term comes to mind that will fix this. MUTINY by the team. There is good TV and then there is lose your fan base TV. I think we know where the fans sit with the finale.

NCIS is one of the better shows but it takes all of the cast to make it work I could not believe what they did at the end of the show, that tells me the seris is over it can't continue without the old crew

The closing 'cliff-hanger' scene does leave one to wonder, doesn't it!? I am betting that Gibbs will end up with his entire team back within the first two or three episodes this fall. Assuming, of course, that CBS doesn't lose what's left of their collective senses and cancel it! IF they don't cancel it, I'm sure the esteemed writers have something up their sleeves for Gibbs and crew to overthrow the new Director of NCIS's rash announcement.
I will be there when (if?) the new episodes air and, if the 'old crew' doesn't come back, neither will I!

And after having watched Bones where they were faking Seeley's death, and remembering how Jenny is not seen in a body bag, and how Tony was the one to pronounce death, and now the new director took something out of his file to shred, MAYBE Jenny's death is being faked to finish up Frog, and to prove a link between the New Director and somehting evil..... And what is that "insurance policy" that is being kept??? And of course, the whole team will be back together wihtin a month....... Too much wishful thinking???

Good grief people - We all know that Gibbs and the team will be featured prominently in each and every episode next season. I do not think that we will even have to wait a full episode for them to reunite. I cannot believe how gullible some of you are! Yes - Jenny is dead and gone (Lauren Holly requested to leave the show), but trust me the rest of the cast will be back.

I agree. No way they are going to knock out all of these characters. They have to make a great end-to the season so everyone sits on the edge of their seats and bashes writers until the fall. I did read that Lauren wanted out to spend time with family so it's doubtful she'll be back...even though Tahonia had a good point - Tony declared her dead & you didn't see her body in the bag! But- they could just "Send" her to "Mexico" like Frank! You guys know Gibbs will figure out what the new Director shredded and keep his team together...come on!

This episode was more like a series finale than a season finale. CBS will not kill off one of their best shows in the lineup by bringing in a new NCIS team. It is your typical season ender: They know people will be back to watch the season opener in the fall just to see what is going on. If they did break up the team then this show will be quickly replaced with another because the entire fan base will turn off their tvs and move on to a different series.

am I the only one to think there is something fishy about the new director ? He shredded a page from his personal file just before calling for the TEAM to come up; what was it ?
and he seems to be on quite a power trip; he wants to eliminate Gibbs, to show him who's the boss. I miss the first director; he was just perfect ! please, bring him back.
and also bring back the rest of the team. I couldn't really believe the finale ... I share the opinion of many of you; they just can't change 4 of the 7 main characters without hurting the show and the fans (I was hurt !!!).
By the way, as a woman, I did enjoy immensely the view of the team geeting out of the elevator when they came back form Jenny's funeral; all these men wearing dark suits and white shirts ... WHOA !!!! more please.

I too was shocked at the team breaking up. I did expect Jenny to die in someway I liked her. CBS went on a serial killing spree. CSI Ward may have died not sure if theres time to save him. Csi Miami H is down and possibly a gonner Criminal Minds explosive finish for someone. Some how that insurance policy that Mike Franks has will get the team back together again. Vance wanted Franks picked up but at the end he lets him walk away with evidence. there's more to Vance and why he broke up the team
