Patrick's amnesia??

Patrick got struck by lightning at the altar. Because of the Rev. finally slept with(Sara-use to be a "callgirl)they fired him from his church so he could not perform their wedding inside so they set it up outside in the lawn at the Inn. Although a storm was coming they went on with the ceremony just as they got up to the altar the Rev was getting ready to start the vows that's when a big bolt of lightning shot across the sky striking Patrick. He was in a coma for a while but when he woke and saw all his family they all thought he was ok but all of sudden he said he did not recognize anybody.
As we all know the writers never believe in "happy-ever-after", so now they have Patrick trying to hit on Marin....GIVE ME A BREAK!!!! THUMBS DOWN on the direction of the storyline...I hope this is because of the writer's strike lol
