No new eps. until fall
According to creator Jenny Bick's ABC blog this season's last five new episodes will NOT to shown until fall (which will make 27 for next season if all goes well). She did say that ABC would start showing reruns in June, which is some small comfort. Still think the network treated this show very shabbily.

I completely agree, those of us that are fans are being jerked around, and networks don't understand that makes a show fail. People get tired and then give up. This show had very little promotion and still caught an audience, the powers that be promote and push the sucky shows they want to do well- and the remaining shows have a battle to try and remain on air while the network offers little to no support. In NYC when the new shows were premiering Six Degrees was everywhere on the subway, on buses, numerous commercials. The show still sucked, yet every week there it was. I saw only one commercial for MIT in all that time and there was always something, a new time slot and a new night... they want us to give up.

I can wait till fall since we are having the reruns but if they put it any longer they will lose a lot of viewers on ABC period. I'm interested in some of the other new show but Men in trees is my favorite. Janlouise

Men In Trees is one of my favorite shows on TV these days. BUT..... there are two things that could eventually make this show fail. One is the obvious. They're making us wait too long for new episodes. No matter how much we're in love with a show, there are alot of other shows that may take it's place. The second thing is that I hope the writers understand how important it is that Marin and Jack get back together and have more fun on screen. It was a mistake to have Jack become so enamored with Lynn when she came back. It's almost like maybe Marin shouldn't bother taking Jack back someday. That would definitely be the demise of this show. Their relationship is THE most important part of the story. Without that, Men In Trees will self-destruct.
