Patricia's Grand Tetons

Given the fact that Patricia's character seems to get 99% of her psychic information in the dream state, we see her and her TV husband in their bed at least four times per show. That's fine.

Here's my question- when they block this familiar scene, why do we always have the camera angle from her right side, low enough that we can barely see over her way too mountainous breasts when we are trying to watch her SPEAKING...with her MOUTH?

No woman who has had children, has natural breasts that stick straight up when they are lying down flat unless one of three situations is in play: 1- they are wearing a serious bra under their pajamas, ala Marilyn Monroe or
2- they have serious silicone implants
3- they have serious engorgement issues and are nursing a new born baby.

We get it. She has breasts. Newsflash: ALL mammals have "breasts. Thank you mister juvenile cameraman. Grow up.

Either the camera man has a secret hot streak for Arquette or he really doesn't think her acting is a terrific as her Grand Tetons-otherwise, he would figure out how to position the camera ABOVE the bed so we are looking slightly down on the couple while they talk in their bed. Let Arquette's acting ability shine by focusing on her FACE while she's talking.

And how about letting her character develop another way-besides startling dreams every freaking night- to be in contact with the other side? Maybe she could spend some more time with the other psychic lady who can help her develop this new skill of, automatic writing, scrying or closing her eyes and seeing things.

Give her husband and kids a break from the "Mom's bolting out of bed at 2Am again" scenario.

This show could be really great if the big wierd things are avoided. And I mean BIG.

Okay, obviously you're a not a great fan the show, or you haven't watched it much, because she doesn't just get information in her dreams. She has visions while she is awake also. And she talks to the dead, also while she is awake. And as for the psychic friend, as much as I like the character and the fact that she has someone to talk about this stuff with besides her husband, Patricia's character is much more believable and I think it is because Patricia deliberately avoids using those cliched acting tricks like closing her eyes, squinting, or any other hackneyed actor's tool. I agree that she is a phenomenal actress and I too have noticed the element that you are talking about, but as I am not interested in her 'grand tetons', I usually can ignore it.
