Vincent's Departure?
I cannot see Dick Wolf letting Vincent D'Onofrio go, to me that would be like committing suicide for the show.
On a side note I read that Vincent has reunited with his ex-wife Carin van der Donk, does anyone know if that is true or not?

Yes, it's true that Vincent and his wife Carin have reconciled. In fact, they never divorced only separated for a season.
Happy they're back together again!

Can anyone direct me to an article reflecting this reconcilation? I'd like to read about it. Also, I would love to see a photo of her if anyone know where one is - I'm dying of curiosity! I think they have a daughter together, so kudos to them for getting it back together.

I can't imagine that Vincent would leave this show. He is promised through 2008, I thought. But, NBC is dragging their feet at renewing this show, and certainly, Vincent would be better served on a personal level by leaving the show and having fun producing and directing. Of course, Rene Balcer has a great character ahead that Vincent could handle. He and Kathryn E. are the lifeblood of this program--I don't see it continuing without them. It is hard to know what is going on because NBC is being so secretive about this.
