If Goren goes I stop watching
My husband and I have been a big fan of the LO CI SVU and the CSI and the spin offs so we were disappointed when we saw an episode last week without D'onofrio and Erbes. We were not impressed with the acting of the people doing the leads, they acted as though they had just come out of acting school. It would be such a shame if the two originals were taken of as they bought a certain quirkiness to the show and made it different to anything else we have seen, so if they are taken off in favour of two other actors, which incidentally the show wouldn't be the same, we won't be watching it, so come on Dick Wolf bring back V. D'onofrio and K. Erbes and we will watch it forever. C. Quinn. England

i wouldn't worry about it. i haven't heard anything about goren leaving the show. as you may have heard, vincent collapsed on set and several times at home, and had to be treated for exhaustion, which is why they are trading out Goren for Logan every other week.
though, i agree. bring back Goran full time!! i do not care for Logan. his acting is sub-par and he is not the same kind of character as Goren. you know, the guy who knows everything there is to know, like Gil Grissom on CSI: vegas. that is what drew me to the show, after all, was vincent's character and acting. i just hope he is doing better and hope he will be coming back full time some time soon.

I wonder how long you have been fans. Vincent D'Onofrio and Chris Noth (original Law & Order) have been splitting time for almost 3 years. VDO is what they call a "method actor." This form of acting is very exhausting and he has been doing this for a long time. All of his rolls are like that. Watch the movie The Cell with Jennifer Lopez and Vince Vaughn. VDO plays the messed up bad guy. They split time on the show so he doesnt get burned out.

Greetings, I have to admit I do not understand the initial comment on VDO leaving. As mentioned below Chris Noth is now in his third year AND THIRD partner. I think Alicia Witt is great! I think this has helped the show. VDO has certainly expanded the depth of his character and his deep loyalty and respect for EAMES. While Kathryn Erbe continues to be the perfect counter weight and anchor to his sometimes manic behavior. Additionally, Eric Bogosian surprisingly added much needed weight and authority to the character of the Captain. As for Noth he has added a very interesting character to the show. His response to the Captain as to FALACCI "not being a people person" by saying he'd like to be the "diplomatic one" for a change has worked great. My concern now is that will this show be renewed for an eighth season on USA? While announcing new episodes in June these are the remaining of the seventh season. Anyone have news on season eight aside from speculation? Regards, Rock Hunter
