April 10, 2007: Country Crossover (Again)

This episode wasn’t one of the season’s strongest the first time around, and it probably won’t get any better tonight. “Country Crossover” “had it all”: Shallow characters you couldn’t care less about, confusing (or confused) motives, and a lot of walking showbiz clichés. The one highlight was this classic Logan one-liner: “Cocaine in a recording studio. I’m shocked. Shocked.”

Next week:: It’s another repeat, but a good one this time. “The War At Home” was one of the best episodes this season, and possibly one of the series’ finest to date. A rare opportunity to peak behind our beloved Det. Goren’s crazy curtain, this is a must-watch if you didn’t catch the original airing.

Thanks Todd, for being a fan of my favorite show, Criminal Intent. I wish others at TV Guide felt the same way.

Keep us posted, if you can, on it's fate for a season 7. Thanks, friend.

I love all three of the L&Os but CI is my favorite. I agree, last night's episode was just average.(Although, I did feel bad for the husband.) Todd, please let us know when NBC renews CI. I can't believe there is a chance this could be cancelled!

I never miss it either. Hope they don't kill it.

I thought that episode was horrible. I could have cared less about any of the characters. It was a very weak episode and I was glad it was over.

Glad to be of service - I'll definitely keep an ear out for news on Criminal Intent's renewal or cancellation. Also, the rumors that Vincent D'Onofrio is leaving may be true, as I've come across a couple of Australian newspaper articles from March in which he says this will be his last season with the show. Hopefully he was just misquoted!

Why aren't they using her more? She's fantastic and my favorite character on the show. CSI:Miami gave more to Khandi Alexander and even Robert David Hall has more on CSI. True, they are forensic shows, but can't the L&O franchise give us more of ELizabeth Rogers? Spread it out over the three shows, just give us more!!!
