Keep it up!! Keep it up!!! We can do this together!!!

All the tension! The excitement! As you sit watching your all time favorite TV show, you are at the edge of your seat....waiting. Wondering....what's going to happen? These are some of the thoughts that are tormenting you as you are watching the season finale. Then it's over...the dreaded 'to be continued...' appears on the screen. Now it's just the waiting game until the next season begins. Oh the anticipation!!
Most Las Vegas fans experience these thoughts at the end of each season. What will NBC come up with next for our favorite TV show? Will Danny and Delinda have their baby? Will Vic take over the Montecito and marry Sam? Will the mystery of Cooper ever be revealed?? So many questions to answer! Then suddenly, after five years of viewing loyalty, devoted fans received the news...NBC cancelled Las Vegas.
The internet buzz soon began; thousands of fans posted their opinions in chat rooms and fan forums around the globe. "How could NBC treat their fans with such disrespect?" "Las Vegas was a wonderful long running show with excellent ratings!" So many responses, filled with anger and sadness. Most fans know that towards the end of Season 5, ratings did drop a little. But then again, NBC also changed the time slot in which Las Vegas aired, and also had a low rated show introduce the evening coming on right before LV. Is that really reason enough to cancel with no notice at all? Regardless fans deserve an ending to their favorite action packed series. What about another season to answer the questions? Fans would even be satisfied with at least one more episode if it provided an ending! Fans deserve better than a cliffhanger ending to their favorite series.
To try to change the minds of NBC executives, LV fans around the world are writing to NBC and have launched a SAVE LAS VEGAS campaign to protest this thoughtless cancellation. At www.lasvegas-the series.com, they have put 'Operation Baby Booties' into play. On top of letters and emails, fans are sending in all the baby booties they can find to NBC. The booties are a representation of Delinda's unborn child; one of the many unanswered questions and suspenseful cliffhangers that NBC decided to leave us with to ponder. Fans are not going to take this lying down! As fans we will fight back and let NBC know what their decision has done. We are spreading the word to give fans the opportunity to join in our campaign. After five years of loyalty, we want more from NBC. We are only asking for closure.
All the tension...the wondering! As we sit watching reruns of our favorite TV show, we are still sitting on the edge of our seats. What's going to happen? Will we ever know? As letters and baby booties flood their way to NBC, again we're waiting. Hoping and praying NBC will honor our loyalty since 2003, and that they will respect the wishes of millions of fans. We want to feel the satisfaction of our favorite program having closure. Fans ask for the peace of mind to know Las Vegas bowed off our television sets with a proper ending after five spectacular years on the air.
Fans deserve more. Save Las Vegas. As Tom Selleck's character Cooper says, “Anything can happen.”

Jeff Zucker and his brilliant(?) staff have demonstrated why once Number One NBC is now Number Four. They keep jacking around show schedules and then pull them when they don't get high enough ratings to bump up advertising rates. It's all about Greed! Keep the pressure on and keep the letters and booties headed toward Burbank.
