Give Kid Nation some credit
Personally, I don't think that this is what the producers are intending for you to take this as. I think this is a chance for kids in our culture today to show they aren't all your stereotypical "kids" these kids know what they are doing and are perfectly capable of deciding with there parents if this is something they can handle, plus nobody keeps them from leaving, and nobody kicks them off. If that is your idea of tourture,I don't think its a correct view on what this is about,
