Shark Jump
I really liked this show and I was intrigued by the mystery of what's going on. But this last episode (11/1) had such a huge mistake that I don't think I can keep watching.
The guy who was out looking around returns to Jericho. He tells them, among other things, that New York is still there because they caught the guys trying to set off a nuke.
And NOBODY asks, "What guys? Who were they? Where were they from?" That's so completely unbelievable that I couldn't get into the rest of the episode. The show is focussing so much on the various melodramas around town that they've forgotten the reason we tune in in the first place is to learn more about what happened.
That is a shark jump moment.

I agree. The only reason I watch this show now is to decode the morse code messages at the beginning !

I totally agree! The main reason I started watching this was because of Skeet Ulrich...But there are so many holes in the story line that I'm not sure if I want to continue.
Like, what happened to finding Roger? We found out that his plane was rerouted but that was it...and how is that it seemed like Emily and Heather hardly knew each other at the beginning of the show but when Emily had that daydream about her wedding, Heather was the maid of honor?
I keep watching in the hopes that those holes will be filled but no luck yet....

That does not qualify as a shark jump moment. You're right, it does highlight the weakest aspect of the show. The total lack of in depth conversation and or realistic speculation about what has happened is starting to bother everyone I know that watches Jericho. But a true shark jump moment would have involved Jake Battling mercenaries on a explosive laden bridge while the whole town watched.... oh wait.. that happened too.
