We are battling for a renewal for JERICHO..
Several fronts: We are sending various versions of "nuts" to CBS. Peanuts, styrofoam peanuts, pictures of peanuts and yes a case of peanuts to CBS TV.

My heart is absolutely broken because CBS has chosen not to renew Jericho. The last thing I want is another crime or medical drama.
This was truly an original show with an original idea and storylines. NBC has the courage to bring back Friday Night Lights even though it didn't do well in the ratings.
But I suppose this should be expected for a network he kept Dan Rather for way too many years.

This is truly sad. Now you know how us Surface fans felt last year. All I can say is organize your snail mail and email campaigns, and hope for the best. Maybe we'll get at least a 2 hour movie to finish loose ends. The Firefly/Serenity fans were successful enough to get 2 movies and a DVD, so good luck! Nimsgirl, www.savesurface.com

Also, find just as many names, addresses, and email address as you can, including "sister" networks. When we campaigned NBC, we also bombarded SciFi with the idea of that channel picking it up if NBC didn't.

I think what bothers me most about the cancellation of this (my absolute favorite show by the way) unique and original show is that the reason given in the cancellation announcement is that the show “lost steam” after its hiatus. It’s amazing - a show whose story lines revolve about the individual and communal drive to survive – could not survive the whimsy of network executives.
All networks, not just CBS, tried experimenting with putting their shows on hiatus - only to see them lose viewership. Even the powerhouse show ‘Lost’ lost out in this experiment. What ever happened to the concept of reruns? I know that seems like a curse word these days, but re-airing episodes not only help established audiences for a show catch up on an episode or story line they missed, but help to grab viewers that were previously watching other shows. This concept of putting shows on hiatus - to make room for crappy reality shows - has failed. Networks need to take notice of this and not blame the shows for a network decision.
CBS should not blame ‘Jericho’ for "losing steam", but turn the blame inward for so quickly abandoning a show that they put so much effort into promoting. We do not need more crime dramas, medical dramas, or legal dramas. JERICHO is a beautifully written and well performed show. I definitively believe that this gem needs to be given a second chance by CBS – or perhaps another network.
HELP SAVE JERICHO FROM ANNIHILATION!!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it when I read Jericho was cancelled!! What are the CBS execs thinking. This show is original and thank God not another crime show. Maybe if we call it CSI:Jericho they'll renew it. The networks wonder why we watch cable channels,at least they give shows a chance to find an audience. CBS placed the show on a hiatis mid season breaking the continuity and then wonders where the audience went..
NUTS!! To TPTB at CBS.

Something I just thought of, if there is anything you want to save from the official CBS Jericho board, poetry, songs, alternate story lines, ANYTHING, better do it quick, because CBS will pull that board down. NBC left the Surface board up for about a month, so we were able to save some things. ButI suggest that you don't wait too long to do this. I have no idea how long CBS will leave the Jericho board up.

Massive amount of Jericho fans are outraged at the cancellation of the show by CBS. Check out Jerichowiki at CBS also the message board. There has also been a petition currently with over 14,000 signatures. Fans of the show have also been calling CBS none stop since the news of the cancellation as stated by the receptionist as CBS. Cbs has received so many messages that their voicebox is completely full. It is time that the big networks listen to their viewers.

I can't beleive this. This is a great show...original, and entertaining. We are so tired of the crime scene and reality shows. I had trouble finding it after the 1st of the year...and missed a lot of the episodes, but this is a quality show and deserves more time.

My family is really ticked over CBS' decision. This was one of 3 shows that we looked forward to watching each week!
I think it's inconsiderate of a network to can a show such as this was, when the story line has no ending. If they're going to produce and broadcast shows with continuing story lines, the least they could do for their loyal viewers (that's everyone who watches a given network), then they should at least invest in a show that brings all topics to closure.
I'm considering boycotting CBS altogether over this one! JMKnight.

The funniest part, to me, is that idiot saying Jericho started off well then lost a lot of steam, that it was just underperforming.
I have news for the suits at CBS: it wasn't Jericho that was underperforming, it was YOU that was underperforming. YOU took it off the air for almost 3 months, and YOU put it back on with reduced viewership against American Idol. YOU did that, Jericho didn't do that.
They ought to have a reality comedy show, featuring the braintrust of CBS just doing what they do.

I have never felt so strongly about a show as I do Jericho. It is fantastic & keeps me on the edge of my seat. The cast is fabulous. CBS,however, is NUTS! Looks like their Fall schedule could also be called the Fall-Through schedule. Save Jericho.
