Smallville VS "heroes"
on Smallville, Clark takes it upon himself to help and save the people there, whether it's those he knows or even those he doesn't. this is what being a HERO is about; a REAL hero ACTUALLY does what's right and doesn't worry about getting not accolades for it. whereas on "heroes", none of the characters do anything heroic, or anything at all, except stand around for the entire hour, week after week, blabbing "I'm a hero, look at me". for example: hiro - a guy who wants to steal an ancient sword because he thinks it will make him a "hero". so what if he can time travel. big whoop. it's not an original idea. so scrap this show already; it's going nowhere weekly.

I love both show... apples and oranges. I think I'm getting more hooked on hero's lately. I think it's got richer characters and a more compelling plot that draws you in every week.
One of the drawbacks of Smallville is that most of the superpowers disappear after one episode. It'd be nice to see more of the JLA... slip in some Bruce Wayne or Hal Jordan and keep them in there once in a while. I like the multiple layer format Hero's uses.
Both are great shows though. PS Bring back Birds of Prey!

On a scale of one to ten i rate heroes an 9. On a scale of one to ten i rate smallville an 8. I love both shows. If it was up to me to pick which one to stay on TV i would say heroes. Personaly i like heroes a little bit more than smallville. ">
