The Finale: Did we get what we wanted
There have been twist and turns, ups and downs in the professional and private lives of our beloved Dr. and Interns. With this year's Finale basically leaving nothing of a mystery or giving us a summer cliffhanger do you feel that we got all of what we wanted (too much too soon/too much too late) and did they (the writers/producers) end the show in such a manner that there is no reason to tune in next season (or will there be a next season)? George gets to take his test over (missed it by 1 point) “Izzie” gets charge of her own clinic Bailey gets her life back (hopefully her husband is included with no difficulty…) Alex sees that he has to move on… Meredith has so many breakthroughs with her therapist. She and Derek finally get back together and now they’re making plans to build a house together and fill it with kids (but he first has to go break things off with his old girlfriend.) Hopefully he doesn’t get into an accident on the way or get to her and find that she’d half dead or something… Who knows? Then of course we got to see the Dr. Weber come to Yang’s defense by telling Hahn that she needs to b a better teacher and to let up on Yang. Weber also goes home to his wife. The kiss thing between the two female doctors- Let’s just say we knew that was coming. But, was it a way of making amends for the instances of insensitivity to the homosexual lifestyle of a fellow cast mate (last season- Washington…)? What is there to look forward to? What would you like to see happen?

I have been watching since this program first aired and this season I have disgusted to see several episodes with same sex kissing. I realize that many people aren't bothered by this, but I find it disgusting and will quit watching next season if it continues.

dfwscrapper - Is it less offensive to watch two people of the opposite sex making out? Tolerance, people!

I think it's hysterical that people are okay watching adultery, promiscuous sex, alcoholism, etc.,but as soon as two people of the same sex kiss, its suddenly offensive. Morality check people. If you find two guys or two girls kissing offensive then you should probably be offended by everything else on the show.
The episode with the two army guys was so well done, by the end of the show I was in tears. Those were two men who deeply loved each other and it came to a tragic end. As a gay man who served in the military I can relate to what was in that show. And no, I didn't get discharged for being gay.
It's ridiculous. Stop watching you hippocrite. Greys is far to good for some small minded person with second hand morals.
