Candles in finale
Ok, I can suspend disbelief at the thought of a stable wormhole and stargates, but where did Meredith get all the candles to set up her landing strip floorplan? How much time did it take to leave Derek's land, run down to the local Pier 1, buy several hundred candles (and a lighter), go back and set up the floor plan (including closet space?!)
Even if Meredith had the ability to command the space-time continuum, it seems highly improbable...

Meredeth may have had candles but why weren't the 3 little words "I love you" said to Derek? She never confesses her love to him and I for one get sick of her expecting him to drop everything and keep running back to her. This story line is getting old. She needs to act like she really loves him and start telling him!! Derek has no flaws. She could learn from him.

I LOVED this scene. In reality it was all done by computers. But the fact that she did that is saying I love you without saying the words. She built the house they were going to spends their lives in out of candles. How much more romantic can you possibly get?
I am wary because I think something bad is going to happen. I don't think Patrick Dempsey isn't returning next year, so that rules out death... however there could be a coma that results in amnesia...
