Series Finale Gilmore girls
So i was deffently a little suprised and dissappointed when i turned in to tag along for one last time with the gilmore girls. Although a lot of the story lines where well finished to my completion...a few that need be werent. To start off with, Emily & Richard & lor were great, i thought it was great that you could tell they finally were amended with all the things lorelai choose to do when raising rory and that she did a great job at that. I thought it was adorable that they wanted to make sure they were still having their friday night dinners, it reminded me of the very first one that didn't go that well. I also thought that the mother/daughter relationship between the official gilmore girls was finished great. the final scene in lukes, which was just like the final scene of the pilot was great, lor just rambling on about nothing like her usually self and rory going along with it all. Back to something we really didn't see this season too much. Of course the luke & lorelai thing is a touchy matter to many fans, i thought that when rory n logan didn't get enganged it was the right thing to do. Rory should be on her own finding her career, because thats what the show began with. But when they didn't expand on the relationship of luke & lor really got me pissed. I wasn't expecting a wedding thats for sure but, i wasn't expecting that either. Although i did think it was adorable that luke finally said what he said...and lor was determined to get it outta him. :]
All in all, i really wish their were more scenes with luke & lor just for the fact to make sure they were ending up together...i guess thats why the writers did that though so theyd leave us hanging...but really its not a season finale like that ...its the series finale and i was really hoping for more closure with them.
Im really gonna miss this show next year, although im sure all the "die hard fans" will get through it lol. I was really hoping for a shorten season just to finish that l&l thing. but i know it was coming to an end soon. I grew up with this show...first watching it with my mom & then my dad even joined in...it was a tuesday nite special. Really don't think were gonna find a show, and corky characters like them to fill the void.
so thanks for the great 7 years gilmore crew. look forward to see up n coming projects. haha and by the way i really think the cw is going to go down the drain now. i know i won't watch anything on it now that the gilmore girls is gone, maybe sometimes onetree hill. But they really shoulda pushed a shorten season, these girls were their mainstream.
