A father and mother in need!!!!
Dear Ty, my name is Angela, my mother and step father lost their house due to a fire while they were attending church two yrs ago. My step father has polio from his waist down since he was seven and he is the strongest man I have ever seen. When he goes to stores people try to offer him wheelchairs (he uses metal crutches) he just smiles and says "no thanks" and keeps going. He works so hard so much harder then people who can use their legs. He is my hero. My mother is a wonderful women who lacks confidence due to rotten teeth she feels people are always staring at her but truth is she is a beautiful woman. My mother works off and on but she has a hard time. She has thyroid problems and ulcers and recently had her gallbladder removed. With all her problems and not being able to find a job has put her in a little bit of a depression. They live in a really small town Omaha Arkansas. They were buying the house and they did not have insurance at the time. They are still paying for the land which is only one acre. All they could afford is a run down old trailer. My step father tries to fix it up as much as he can but he cannot afford to do a lot at one time They are awesome and they do all they can for anyone and everyone. My step father is not able to work due to his polio, he receives SS. Which is not much at all. My little brother is the only child that lives there at the time he is 17. They each teach classes at Sunday school and attend all the church functions. There were eight of us all together. Me, my 3 sisters and 4 brothers. My husband and I help them financially as much as we can when we can. My parents never want to take the money cause they feel so bad. Everything they have in there small trailer was from the community. My brothers bed is so hard that he sleeps on their small sofa. Throughout my life they have struggled and worked and have nothing to show for it. They went without things to provide their children with things we needed. I would just like to see something good happen to them. My step father is 57 and my mother is 45. I would like to see them be able to relax and not be stressed. Thank you for taking the time to read this. It would mean a lot if there was anything you all could do for two wonderful people.

OMG!! I know them. mr Jerry is a wonderful person. And Ive met your mom shes nice too. Jerry drives the church bus, and would do anything for anyone, and doesnt ask for anything from anyone. Im amazed at his determination, My son helped him do a job, he crawled on the ground moving rocks , making a rock wall skirting for a mans mobile home. I think he deseves to have a nice home!! he is a role model, spiritually, physically, mentally, and every way you can imagine. Your a wonderful Daughter to try to do this for them. I hope TY reads it and makes a difference in their lives , theyve sure made a difference in other peoples lives.
