Mark's Beating
I just can't give it up, it gnaws at me Day and Night, "who was it that beat the crap out of Mark Green in the Men's Room in Season 4? I know it was a long time ago, and the episode was titled "Random Acts of Violence" but before I die, I have to know who was it, who assaulted Mark Green, and will he be brought to justice, may be the could do one of those two in one shows where they finally get there man and prosecute him on "Law & order".

He was beaten up by a man whose brother died in the er because of mark. I think that after the beat down the man sued the hospital and or mark. I am pretty sure that they settled out of court. I don't think that the guy was ever charged. will check back with more info if i find it. I am going on memory here.

it wasn't the brother allegedly and it was spring of season 3 not 4.

I thought that you might want to check out this clip on YouTube, from the episode "Random Acts". It was an incredibly vicious beating and the most disturbing thing I've ever seen (Before Romano's run in with the helicopter, of course).
We can only assume that Chris Law (Joe Torry)was the one behind the assault on Greene (Because of Greene's failure to save his brother and the possibility of racism involved on Greene's part). The person involved was never caught and brought to justice. But in the episode "Do You See What I See?" Mark went to Chris Law and asked his forgiveness in the death of his brother. Chris seemed to have accepted the apology, and that was pretty much the end of the storyline.
