Wayne Deserves Better!
I was really excited Wayne Brady was doing this, I think his talent is profoundly under-rated. Unfortunately again it's underused in this "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" based show.
This could have been great and a lot of fun, but it does what TV executives seem to think is the equivalent of drama it moves slouth slow. They also have the contestants singing far too long and they pick odd parts for them to have to come up with the words to. Singing Bee was a lot more fun to watch and a lot faster moving.
The poor contestant tonight, while cute, was painful to listen to - way too much of a very bad thing.
They also showed a ridiculous amount of the show in previews. Just from the clips for tomorrow night we know she'll be around for three more rounds. I'm not sure the audience will be.
It's back to Joey and Singing Bee for me!!

I like tonite's show. Ride on Wayne. The girl has a bad voice, but she did try and hey, 350 grand, hello??? What is the name/title of the song the girl sang tonite---the song with phone number-like lines?. i dig that song and wants to check it out. Folks, give me the name , if you know it.

The show did move a little better last night and even though we already knew she was going to make it as far as she did from the previews I was still pulling for her by the end. With a little tweaking and less revealing previews this could be a great show.
The song you are asking about is (867-5309)Jenny by Tommy TuTone.

Well swahili, I missed that show so I don't know what song you are talking about, but I would love to get digits to that contestant, Teresa from Las Vegas, she was smoking hot!
I also agree with Debbie that this show does not allow Wayne Brady to utilize his abilities. He is far more talented than being a host of a simple show. I think it would be better if he was singing, sometimes correctly and sometimes with made up lyrics. People would then vote if he was right or not. I think that would display his talent more because he is sooo good at making it up as he goes.

Yes He deserves better, but I gotta say, I love this show! Too bad his daytime show didn't work out, I liked that one also!

Did you ever think that maybe he wanted the job? Maybe he enjoys what he is doing. Who are we to say what he does with his career.
