Part 2 of the Tornado Show - Quote/Last Words Spreading Ida's Ashes

When Lynette and (Geez I can't remember the older ladies name) were going to spread Ida's ashes on the baseball diamond, the older lady said a quote or poem or some last words for Ida. Does anyone know "exactly" what she said? It was beautiful.

Yesssss!! I was looking for this to send to my best friend whose mom died yesterday. I went to another message board and someone there knew it. Here it is:
It's called Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

There is a longer one, too that I saw on Wiki. You can look it up - it's pretty, but I prefer this, shorter one.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

I didn't mean to post that a second time. Anyway, wiki is wikipedia.com I believe. Someone else had found that for me on there I think. I was so glad to see someone else wanting to know that poem.

really, this time:
http://freespace.virgin.net/david.brunton/I%20Did%20Not%20Die.html
or
I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow;

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain;

I am the gentle Autumn’s rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush.

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft star that shines at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.

I am not there;

I did not die.
