SOF SPOILERS
Kayla learns she must stay off her feet for the remainder of her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Steve is having a mysterious meeting with EJ. Steve leaves and is followed by a gunman. He calls Bo and uses a code to let Bo know he's in trouble, while the gunman gets Steve in his sights
Nick confronts Max after learning from a student that his grant proposal was sent into the university. Max lies but Stephanie tells Nick the truth. Max took Nick's papers, made sure they were legible and mailed them to the dean. Nick is livid and so is Stephanie.
After planting a kiss on EJ, Sami begs Roman to help her visit Lucas in prison. Later, Sami gets an e-mail from Lucas telling her to stop hoping for a relationship with him and to move on. Sami's heartsick. EJ professes his love for Sami, telling Nicole he's trying to get Lucas out of prison so he can vie for Samantha's affection on a level field.
Victor learns Philip has John's disk and is impressed. He hands over all of the Kiriakis business ventures to Philip.

And EJ is trying to get Lucas out of jail, hmmmm, I wonder what's up?
I sure do wonder what's up with Max.
Cinder, I think the 2 counts of murder for Martino could be for the snitch he confronted in the alley, and the psychiatrist, and not Abe, hopefully. Although,I do find it ludicrous to think that a mob boss would be the one to actually do the killing, I suppose they could say that he ordered the hits.
Kayla sure has had a short pregnancy, I remember some of the times on this show when a woman took over 2 years from conception to birth.

I'm worried about Kayla's baby too. It will be a premie and I hope they let it survive. It would cause even more of a problem for her and Steve if the tiny guy dies. She seems to be holding back on him a bit. I wonder when it will all explode. I love Steve and Kayla.

I need Philip and Chloe to just get it over with. It is obvious that he will probably end up with Morgan..so I wish they would just throw this desparate PHLOE fan a bone.

RUMOR:
Rumors are running rampant that Martino Vitali will end up being Lucas' father. It makes me want to hit my head against a wall when they change this stuff constantly. Well, maybe it isn't true and if it is - maybe it will be a good story.

I came back to Days of our Lives after 15 years because I heard Joe Penny was going to be on. Now I am hearing they are killing him off!! Guess I'll be an ex-fan again. What a waste of a terrific talented actor.

2good56 - I'm sorry you will be leaving the viewership. I think he is fantastic too, but they did call it stunt casting so I expected it. I doubt if they could afford Joe Penny long term. I think the show is better right now that it has been for years. There are so many possibilities right now. With Roscoe Born starting - and he is good too - who knows where they are going? I personally am not bent out of shape by any storyline right now because they are being well told.

As someone on Soap Talk said, and I say from time to time - how boring would a show be with no conflict? We wouldn't watch. Lucas coming back at this time should liven it up - a lot IMO.
