Another of DAYS's ex-Shawn's has landed a new gig. Soap Opera Digest has learned that Brandon Beemer, who left Salem in March, has been cast on BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL. Look for the popular actor to join the show in a new role.

Hmmmm...there must be some kind of mutual admiration agreement going on between these two shows, isn't Kyle Lowder (former Brady Black) also on B & B? And that's where Joe Mascolo spent his intervening years with when he left DAYS. Susan Flannery (formerly Laura Horton) is one of the stars on that soap, too. Eileen Davidson (formerly Kristen Blake Dimera, Susan Banks, et. al) is now Ashley Abbott on B & B.
There may be others, but those are the ones that stand out in my mind right now. I remember, too, that the late William J. Bell, creator of B & B, was a DAYS writer back in the 1970's.
Anyway, congratulations to Beemer, I'm glad he got a new gig right away.

He's popular with a segment of the viewers. They may follow him over if they aren't there already. I know, Days really has supplied that show with talent, haven't they?
I hope he does well.

It will be interesting to see where he fits in at B & B. One thing about B&B is that the focus is all about story and not about keeping fan faves. The show has killed off or written out many favorite characters over the years because the powers at be felt it would be good story telling or because they felt like the character had ran out of story. They must know something though..ratings have been pretty good.

Stud - good for them. A well told, honest story should be at the center of every show. The rest will eventually fall into place.

Well he fits on a show like B&B about beautiful people.He may not have been the best actor around but like Austin Peck and others before him Days has habit of hiring the best looking if not the most talented.
That is one criticism I hear often of Days that they hire looks over talent now I don't completely agree with that but in some cases it is true but I have always felt the entire daytime medium did that.
Anyway good for him as actor everyone needs a paycheck.

Speaking of Austin Peck, I hear good things about him over at ATWT. I haven't watched that show for years, but several friends have told me they really like him as Brad on that show. He's got a front-burner storyline and I've seen good reviews about him in magazines and online, I'm really glad for him and hope he continues to do well.
