This post is all speculation on my part. It does include a spoiler from the week of 5/12.
Today, May 1, I had the distinct idea that Abe was about to be killed on this show. As you know, rumors have said for a long time that a long term character would die this spring. I wish I had written the exact dialogue first between Abe and Lexie and then between Abe and Steve that made me think this. I didn't however.
It just struck me suddenly that we had just had this rumor:
Wednesday, 5/14
Martino is arrested for two counts of murder, as well as the attempted murder of Steve.
Steve and Abe are spending a lot of time working on this Vitali thing. Ava's psychiatrist is murdered and so is the snitch Bo used. So when I first read this spoiler I figured those were the two murders. Then it didn't make sense. Would a powerful man like Martino Vitali murder a snitch himself? Plus, if he attempts to murder Steve, maybe he succeeds in murdering Abe?
There was something in the way Abe spoke about having a lifetime with Lexie and being around for a long time that made me think "Aha, he isn't going to be!"
What do you think?

After watching today - maybe it's just me worrying about this. I hope I am wrong. If I'm right I won't be happy. I can see where Martino is very responsible for the snitch.

I think Days might be going the route of telling a story of how to find that spark again in a marriage with Abe & Lexie..but then again, you never know!
I still think it might be Victor who is killed on the show. It sounds like from spoilers, he turns over his business to Phillip and he keeps talking about how his family comes first. He told Bo not to take on Ava's family next time without him...who knows!

I felt the same thing Cindy it is true great minds think a like. I would not want to lose James but if it is his wish same as John Aniston I too really enjoy him not only with Caroline but with his whole family, Bo,Hope,Philip,Kate and especially Chelsea.
