Day Break Cancellation

Daybreak was the best action show on T.V. that most people will never see. The combination of great acting, non-stop action, and a very interesting unfolding mystery, made you not care about how realistic the premise was. There is not one person I know that actually watched the show who didn't really like it, but plenty of people who like to talk trash about it even though they did not really see it. Not only do the networks cancel these shows and not let the viewers no about it, but worst of all they get you hooked in a mystery and never even let you know the outcome. If it is going to be released on ABC.com, then why not do it right away? It is not like they need it to only be released on particular days once it is web based. I will say that if they don't find a way to release it, there will be plenty of unhappy fans who are going to be reluctant to get started in a new action mystery that may never have an ending. The did it to Firefly and Reunion and I know I am not alone in my annoyance at not being able to see the ending to these shows they hook us on. Everybody should go to http://abc.go.com/site/contactus.html and choose primetime other (since there is no catagory for Day Break)
and demand that they at the very least air all the episodes on ABC.com, since they have not even committed to do that. While it is not my favorite way to view the shows, I think that they owe the 5 million viewers that they hooked at least that much!

I most agree with you, Day Break its one of the best shows of action and perfect for cover LOST. ABC its turning into FOX(Arrested Development cancellation).
If people watch the show they will be amazed by the excellent writing and developing of options that Brett Hopper(Taye Diggs)have. This is outrageous I dont live in the U.S my cable company have ABC but the rest of the episodes are
gonna be aired online and the website is not allowing internationals to watch the show. Common you cant do this to the american and international fans.

Let me go on record as saying I have officially begun boycotting ABC. The cancellation of Day Break was the last straw. It's almost a slap in the face to the viewers to know that despite the fact that 13 episodes were filmed and the mystery has been resolved ABC refuses to supply closure to the series. Every other network that had serial dramas flop this year at least had the courtesy to put the remaining episodes online. NBC even went the extra mile with Smith by posting the synopsis to all the unfilmed episodes. Its clear that ABC doesn't respect the 3 million viewers that did tune in to the show. I honestly hadn't been a much of fan of the network since way back when they busted up the TGIF lineup but the way that Day Break has been handled is just a complete insult to injury. From now on, no matter how interesting the premise, I refuse to watch any current or future ABC programming.

I just started getting into when it was cancelled. I tried online viewing but it was stalling and/or stopping all the time so got frustrated, just spaced on it; but I managed to get through a few eppys and I liked it.

I was hoping they'd do like Ugly Betty in a marathon fashion on Soapnet, [instead Falcon Beach]. They can also be rid of re-runs of 90210, Melrose Place, getting really tired of these along w/the endless re-runs of Soapography and One Day With, which is an excellent show if they would air some new eppys. They can take off the Soap Talk reruns too. They could've used that station as a last ditch effort to help viewers bc more familiar w/DayBreak. Give them one last shot. If you show them in marathon, it'll be a soap.

Posted on another board but it looks like it's not getting viewed any longer so wanted to repost my message:

I too had earlier in December sent message through link at abc's website to PLEASE show the remaining episodes or put them online for viewing. Having checked back and now see Day Break has been completely removed from abc.com site! So I've searched online and have found a few mentions about the series being picked up by Bravo (in the UK) I've checked their site and there is a forum discussion regarding this as well but I don't see any online links for viewing shows and believe the Bravo UK is not affilated with the Bravo here in the USA!

So a New Year's Resolution is NO MORE NEW series from ABC will be watched by me! That's it! I give up! They win! I'll watch other stations and will tape Lost when it comes back. Or any other ABC shows I will still watch (Desparate Housewives, Brothers& Sisters, Men in Trees, Dancing w/Stars)

BUT NEVER and I do mean NEVER will I start any NEW series with ABC again!

I heard ABC was at least going to air the rest of Daybreak online, but I don't see any sign of it on their website. Anyone know more details?

I'm boycotting any new series on ABC too, and recording the shows I already watch. Screw 'em!

Day Break is BACK! For those that missed the last episodes you can see them all on TV1, a new cable channel. Their website is daybreak.tvoneonline.com and apparently they're running all the unaired eps too. It comes on Sundays at 10.
