« David Cubitt
Great Actor
I just love this guy! I do not know why I didn't take notice of him the first year or two of Medium, but boy I sure have this year! You must watch him in Medium!
I also discovered a lovely little movie called, The Perfect Son, in which David Cubitt stars with Colm Feore as brothers reunited by their father's death. One of the brothers has been in and out of rehab for years and the other is gay and now dying of Aids. Each actor gives a perfectly nuanced portrayal of two brothers both in their own pain and shows how over their last few months together learn to love each other and come to terms with their pasts.
NBC, please sit up and take notice of this gifted actor! Please give him way more screen time in this and many other projects!

I think because people were taking notice of him on Medium they are giving him more this year. He has great chemistry with Patricia Arquette, IMO.

As of right now his character, Lee Scanlon, and the Deputy Mayor are on the outs. I certainly hope it stays that way! I read on another website that the actress that plays the deputy mayor is actually Glen Gordon Caron's girlfriend(the show's creator). Must be how she got the job, because she is a terrible actress! Even the kids on the show are better actors then she is! I was so disappointed they pulled the new show last night to show a repeat after the Presidential address. I didn't get nearly enough of Lee in the last episode, even though it was a very sweet episode with Allison and Ariel. NBC PLEASE LISTEN UP AND GIVE DAVID CUBITT MORE TO DO!

One of my favorite episodes from last year was the one where Alison thought he was going to murder his old lover. It showcased him nicely and he is so sexy. When I first saw the two of them together I thought maybe they would have an affair or something - but that would be out of character for Alison and it isn't what the show is about - thankfully. I agree about the deputy mayor. She doesn't have much of a spark.
I wondered why there was a repeat.
