David Caruso: He Rises Above It!
Every performer, in whatever field their calling, becomes a target for a variety of unsavories. Actors, athletes, politicians, celebrities with no particular ability other than that of being seen; all strive for a level of perfection in their craft. All are famous or infamous, depending on their expertise and the media attention they create.
David Caruso is no exception to this. He is well known, he has fans, he has detractors and snarkers. He, unlike many others, also has an obsessed stalker. This unbalanced individual has made death threats (arrested and convicted, on probation), traveled 12,000 miles twice, and now (denied access to the US) is limited to furthering her agenda on the internet with many blogs, including on this site.
In our short time in this segment of the web, we've seen this one person start, promote, and encourage over a dozen destructive rumors concerning Mr. Caruso; many have involved innocent victims other than David; his family, friends, co-workers, people he hardly knows yet have been so named. When the rumor du jour is proven false or loses steam, she drops it in favor of a new one. Such is what has happened in the past few days. The one highlight of this fresh rumor is that it revolves solely around David Caruso; no other victims are named.
David, as most other celebrities, has chosen to ignore her and the rumors. He's never addressed any of them, nor should he. Any recognition gives her a credibility she should not have and does not deserve.
We will always have celebrities. We will always have fans and flamers. That's human nature. With the advances of the internet, the options are awesome for those of a heinous mind. We can't prevent much of it. The rare celebrity who sues for libel creates an unwelcome media frenzy most prefer to avoid at nearly any cost.
A high five to David Caruso and all the celebrities who bear this burden as a "price to pay", focusing instead on their craft and their fans while maintaining some semblance of a private life away from the microphones and flashing cameras. They deserve our support.

And now we have the evidence of the truth of your article. She fell right into it, didn't she? Good job, dojo!

Very good topic. PatMc said, "grace under fire". I agree.
Against my better judgment and trying once more to give HeidiHo another shot at decency, I opened the "source" she linked to. OMG, I'm even ashamed to say I was there. Link it as a source? Not in a billion years. It, and Defamer, Popbitch, HollywoodRag, National Enquirer, and so many others are an embarrassment to professional media. These are always where Vixen, aka HeidiHo, aka horatiolover, "leaks" her latest rumor about Caruso, knowing they won't investigate and may even pay.

Too bad that those blogs and websites don't meet YOUR APPROVAL. However, I'm sure neither ME nor the blogowners will lose any sleep over your disapproval. Do we care what YOU think? Nah...
Spitting and cursing on the set in front of child-actor is not only repuslsive but truly disgusting behavior. What a d*o*r*k! Caruso the Lama!

Repulsive and disgusting behavior is all these websites are looking for. I don't think any of those named meet with the approval of anyone with standards and discretionary taste beyond the teen years. They are geared and they attract the very young or those looking for gossip gibberish. Little, if anything, has any truth in it. To call them journalists is an affront to any self-respecting journalist. I agree those blog owners or publishers aren't interested in what we think. They have a considerable audience from the closet window peepers among us.

So Caruso can do no wrong? Well, if it helps you. Caruso does it they write about it. Hopefully more people will come forward and provide us with such hilariously funny tidbits and juicy details. Spitting and cursing - what a stellar human being!

"So Caruso can do no wrong? Well, if it helps you............Spitting and cursing - what a stellar human being!"
Do you even read the article before posting your garbage? "Caruso can do no wrong" wasn't even hinted in Dojo's piece. Your own take? Like everything you write and every time you respond. Your "spin" ON YOUR OWN WORDS defies logic on any level. Speaking of stellar human beings, what's next on your scathing agenda?
David thanks you in that this time you kept other innocent victims out of your harangue.

Not at all pissed. We are all familiar with this scenario and how it works. Again, did you read Dojo's article? Do you have a response? Or just more of the same?

The things David Caruso is being accused of, are just rumors, innuendoes, and unproven gossip. Since there is not one piece of valid proof to support these bizarre and untrue accusations--I give Mr. Caruso a round of applause for just ignoring them. Only the people who are making this stuff up, are the ones who keep pushing their own agendas. The more they push, the less I believe.

Since my post from yesterday went 'poof', I'll try again. Rational people tend to believe the truth. Rational people do not spread gossip or make up comments without merit of truth. I believe Mr. Caruso is indeed showing 'grace under fire'. Imagine a life, where 'someone' decides to spread lies about you via the Internet. And the effort to stop these malicious untruths would be like trying to shovel water with a pitchfork. Besides, why deny what never happened? Think about it.

PatMc - I read your post of yesterday before it was deleted. Absolutely no reason for its deletion. Did you question the moderators? That is inexcusable. BTW, great article, Dojo. You do so love to bait!

Inthewind, No I didn't question the moderators--but I would like to! (By the way, how do I do that??) I didn't post anything inflammatory, and would really like to know why my post was deleted.

In the past I've just emailed Customer Service, BUT I've NEVER HAD A RESPONSE. As you might guess, my complaints have always been the same as yours; post deletions without cause and without explanation. Anyone with a better recommendation, please let us know.
