Yaaaaa Helio & Julianne!!! They deserved to win!
I think Helio & Julianne brought everyone to their feet for a standing ovation on most, if not all, of their performances, regardless of missing a percise movement. Helio and Julianne always deserved to win and it was predictable from day one. He's like Fred Astaire. Watch an old movie and compare Fred with Helio's last performance. Who could beat Helio's charisma and energy...especially when paired with Julianne. They were always amazing and everyone loved them. That's why they won.

I think you are so right. Didn't they say last night Helio held the record for standing ovations? Mel held the record for most perfect scores from the judges was one of the ways she was introduced.

Helio and Julianne were the right winners. Mel B and Sabrina were great,but there can be one winner. Thank God Marie and Donnie are gone. I feel sorry for Marie's partner for lugging and lifting her stiff fat ass all over the dance floor. She doesn't take constructive criticism at all. Marie showed her true colors to America. Face it Marie you aren't that good. If you were that good you wouldn't have needed Donnie campaigning 24/7 and your doll "dummies"voting. Stick to being a mother and your dolls. You and Donnie were ok years ago when you had your show, but now you were lucky to get 8's. The fainting thing really has left a bad feeling by the public in general. Probably it was a publicity ploy to buy enough sympathy to last another week.

This is the first time voting got the last two pairs right. Now if we can get the last five pairs right without all of that special interest fraud, DWTS could become a show worth watching.
All we need is a new voting formula and finding a way to encourage the judges to wait at least until the third show to decide which couple they push.

The only reason that Helio and Julianne won was because of the people's, not because he was the best dancer. I mean how else did Marie beat out Sabrina. If they only went by the Judges who know dance better than any of the people who call in then Sabrina or Mel would have won. That people call in is just a popularity contest, not a dance contest. Also the women have more to do than the men in dance. Just watch the women's dance moves whether they are the contestant or partner. Julianne should have won, but not Helio. Even the judges said that Helio was better in the latin numbers that the ballroom numbers. It is generally a popularity contest. How else could Emmitt Smith beat out Mario Lopez. It wasn't even close.
