CSI Miami: Wanna Be An ME?
 CSI Miami is in the market for a new Medical Examiner. Since Alexx Woods (Khandi Alexander) decided to spend time at home with her children, and her replacement lasted approximately 30 seconds before being killed in the Season 6 finale, "Going Ballistic", the search is on for a permanent ME.
Although Shannon was quickly replaced by Dr. Thomas Wellner, he apparently is not to be seen in Season 7. The word is they're looking for a 20ish-30ish female, possibly with a bit of ethnicity.
If you have an acting background, are in the LA area, with a longstanding yen to work alongside David Caruso, Emily Procter, Adam Rodriguez, Jonathan Togo and Rex Linn, toss your name in the hat. According to reports, there has been no selection at this time.

Allison McAtee (Shannon) would have been perfect had they let her live. She fit their specifications to a T. I'm glad they aren't keeping that male replacement. He would have ended up as another Rick Stetler. Isn't episodic tv only allowed 1 slimebag per show?

I think they're allotted more than one; however, I can't imagine the ME would be adversarial. Allison would have been great in the role.

I agree someone with a little personality spice (perhaps Dr. Wellner had too much), plus a closet filled with rugbys, turtlenecks and Skechers.

Yep, Horatiolover is manipulating the board. She's now commented twice to her own piece.
I've also noticed today she's trying to play "nice", responding to many other boards, while still disparaging everything you say here in her blogs. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm guessing she has been warned....AGAIN!

I did see that she was on many other boards today. New image? Nah, and it won't last long. She doesn't have 24/7 access anymore. One of her comments was that Steven Seagal was "a great actor". Perhaps she'll start a Steven Seagal board. We can only hope.
