CSI Miami Takes Its Monday Time Slot!
Not a big whoop considering the reality opposite was Nashville Star, but still a winner for last week, CSI Miami's repeat of "Rush", took its 10:00 slot and beat its siblings in number of viewers and in the 18-49 demographics for the week.
8.17 million watched the CSI Miami Season 5 rerun, while CSI NY on Wednesday had 7.67 million and CSI on Thursday had 7.24 million.
While the scripted shows are still running behind a couple of the realities, many are faring better (and well they should considering the poor quality of some of the realities).
One note of interest to us from last week is the significant drop in viewers for Swingtown. We would celebrate but fear it will be replaced with something even worse.

Just read the ratings. CSI Miami took #9, well in front of NY and LV. More importantly, Swingtown is slowly dying on the vine. That's good. The fact that Baby Borrowers even made the ratings list diminishes even further the value of said list. UGH!!!!!

Some of our realities are very good We have developed an interest in watching our police, ambulance drivers, border security, life guards and all protectors of the public do their jobs on TV.

It is, I suspect, this preoccupation we have with poised and effective protectors of the public at work, that makes Horatio and his team so appealing, even when re-runs are televised.
