CSI Miami: Clearly Monday's 10:00 Winner!

PhotobucketCSI Miami took its time slot, 10:00 PM, last Monday, including the highly prized 18-49 demo, even though they're the only one of the franchise not airing the just ended season's offerings. Instead, TPTB at CSI Miami are showing reruns from Season 5. Still, they beat the competition.

Why they've opted to show reruns from Season 5 remains a mystery. We suspect it may be due to their late start on new filming, which would leave them in a lurch should a strike be voted.

To be honest, we're surprised they've done as well as they have, considering we're now getting Season 5 reruns on Monday night, on CBS Weekends and on A&E through the week. That's one heck of a lot of CSI Miami, even for fans.

Having vented a tad, we'll just say we're glad they've stood their ground.

Laughable. Position 8 a winner? Sure. In your dreams.. besides....
Lame show, lame actors, lame season.
With NO REAL COMPETITION it is easy to allegedly "stand their ground"

Looks like they're doing pretty well, EVEN WITH SEASON 5 RERUNS. WHY? Did you ever get an answer?

Do I NEED an answer? Besides, with no real competition near and far position 8 is a shame.. Besides this are lAST WEEKS RATINGS. Coughing up old stuff ?
But then with a lame lead like Caruso and lame episodes beter rating than position 8 arenīt really expected. LOL

It was last Monday, June 30th, 2008. I believe that WAS the last Monday we've had, thus far.
The actual ratings for LAST WEEK, to include Monday, June 30th, are not yet available.

Right. And Nielsen Ratings - which are more reliable than any fanpages/fans - say that the wek repeat took ONLY position 8. Todayīs repeat isnīt too interesting either...

"CSI Miami took its time slot, 10:00 PM, last Monday, including the highly prized 18-49 demo..........."

Do you read nothing? Or is it the comprehension? NOBODY SAID ANYTHING about ratings. Dojo simply said CSI Miami took its time slot, which is 10:00 PM last Monday, June 30, 2008. If you can't understand that, maybe you shouldn't be posting the complicated ratings, which you obviously don't get at all.

In Primetime ratings for last week, CSI Miami placed #4 or #8, dependent on who is surveyed AND a 18-49 demo, AND it's own time period: ALL WITH A 2 YEAR OLD RERUN. Not too shabby, considering. Granted, No "Idol" or "DWTS" to gum up the system, thank goodness.

Thanks for clarifying. Seems simple enough. That was a great win for CSI M given re-runs are re-runs.

Yes, me too. We have been transported back to Season 2. I have them on DVD. And yet, here I sit. Tonight H said "The problem with manipulation is that people can turn on you." hmmm.
