CSI Miami: Take a Bow, Adam Rodriguez

No, we haven't forgotten our promise of no reviews, no ratings. However, neglect must be recognized and addressed. When we came onto this scene our mission was singular. As a neophyte in these matters, we had to be a quick study, concentrating on one show: CSI Miami; one actor: David Caruso; one target: David's internet stalker. Now, with a full season behind us, and tons of backup research, we can expand our focus as warranted. This is one of those times.

CSI Miami's rerun, from Season 5, of "Triple Threat", accomplished two things for us. (1) We appreciate the comedic value in what can only be termed a ridiculous plot and, (2) we can comment on the positive factors of the episode.

Front and Center, Adam Rodriguez. As the young, self-confident CSI and world class womanizer, Adam created quite a specific character in Eric Delko. With the near fatal head injury from "No Man's Land" and "Man Down", an epiphany took place, bringing with it significant changes in Adam's portrayal of Eric.

Hats off to the producers, writers and, most importantly, Adam Rodriguez. The personality shift has been natural, ongoing and believable. Eric's lack of confidence, his hesitancy at work, his frustrations with his limitations and his refusal to submit to them; all have forged a new Eric Delko. We recognize the difficulty in projecting a successful character change mid-series. Adam Rodriguez has done it well.

...positive factors of the episode.

With a ridiculous episode like "Triple Threat?" You must be joking. There are absolutely NO positive factors.
The only "positive factor" coming of this episodes is "The Soup"-snarkfest about it. People have asked a lotof times "When has CSI Miami turned into a comedy?" Episode "Triple Threat" may have been the moment..

Adam has come a long way, hasn't he? Even the writers have done this one right. Too bad the same can't be said for Horatio and the writers.
I see Sweet Cheeks is ranting to herself again and obviously is busy manipulating this board. Surprise!! Surprise!
It's now 9:40 and she's still at it.

Nice to see Adam Rodriguez getting some recognition. Imagine my surprise when checking the message boards to see so many blank spaces and blogs! So much for a quiet summer until the new season starts. Someone once told me that some people are like fungus, and keep coming back. A-fricking-men.

Adam, never a favorite of mine, deserves credit for the work he's done on CSI Miami. Eric Delko is a credible character, warts and all. BTW it's good to see life at Whacko Woods remains intact with patients still in charge.

Sorry, Cheeky, your post got buried by the psychotic before I got a chance to read it, so I'm posting it again. Yes, we continue on at Whacko Woods.
