Will the show survive?

Ok, one more posting after talking to a few mates 'in the business' and wanted to know my opinion...
1. If this is an example of what's to come, start looking at other shows, otherwise get some new writers.
2. Maybe they ought to consider an episode where a fan's storyline is used.
3. The focus seems to be on highlighting Vegas and keeping tourism up. You have Nellis nearby, Area 51, deserts, 60s personna living there, mining/ghost towns, yet we get the same victim/crime week after week.
4. Sarah gets a week devoted to her because she is leaving CSU, ok, but a whole show? She got more than Steve Fossett.
5. Overall, I would say it's time to either start wowing us or putting it to sleep. Law and Order spinoffs work, CSU Vegas and Miami have become more 'Miami Vice' like-show and flash, but little story.
6. If anyone deserves recognition and for the show to have been shot from her point of view, it was the one least considered, the modelmaker.
-Think about it. The energy, effort, and detail from her point of view as well as her delusions would have been more impactful than the search for Sara.
-She was 'just another nutcase'? I think she kept the show alive last year.

I think this whole Jorja Fox fiasco is getting really bad! The show, I think, has never been as strong and we're just getting into the Grissom and Sara story allowing us to see a new side of the characters! Why is all this happening NOW? I think that she should get the raise she deserves and the show should end sensibly with a continuum of this relationship progressing to the point where we as the audience can let the show go knowing it ended well!

I think the show will fall apart if Sarah leaves/dies/gets fired. Grissom will be so upset if Sarah leaves!
In my opinion, Catherine Willows should be the one to leave! I mean, how does she improve the show? Please let her leave instead of poor Sarah Sidle!

If Jorga leaves then the writers will just have to make "Grissom" get over it. It is a script after all. He won't fall apart unless the writers let him. He can start feeling like he didn't really care for her after all. There have been a lot of stars of other shows in the past that thought they were the big deal on the show. They will threaten to quit unless they get whatever. Most of the time the show goes on and sometimes it is better after they leave. Put your hand in a pail of water then pull it out. The big space it leaves is how much she will be missed.

From what I've read it seems to be the same situation as they had years ago which was money!

I honestly believe that viewers want more from CSI and Grissom marrying Sara was just what the show needed. How incredibly stupid that they would risk a hit show by having unhappy actors over salary disbutes. They need to pay to be in first place, especially, since it's the original CSI and by far the best. They have focused on Catherine's unhappy home situation, Brass and his daughter which never goes anywhere but the same track, but there is no personal life for any of the other characters. WAKE UP CBS. You are going to lose in the end, and then all of these talented people will be going elsewhere, and hopefully where they are properly rewarded financially for you to reap the benefits of a first place show. Personally, I may quit watching if this does result in Joria leaving, as the show needs more. A lot more.

I must agree that Sarah Sidle is nothing more than a nut case and I can't believe that Grissom fell for her than Catherine! The show is getting a little boring and season seven with the miniature killer was the worst. I think the writers should write something more like CSI New York - The bomb blast, the drug heist and make the story more interesting to bring the rates up.:O I am shocked because this is one series that I love so much.Producers, do something quickly.
