Grissom leaving

I'll miss Grissom, he is the anchor of CSI, however, maybe it's time for him to explore other interests; he would be a wonder teacher, maybe do research such as why the bees are dying and yes, travel to those places he has mentioned (and with Sara--yes I'm a GSR supporter). Grissom had told Sara to basically get a life outside of work, Grissom should, too. It would not be unreasonable that Grissom could be called in on special cases in the future.

As foe Mr. Peterson, GOOD FOR HIM to take toe opportunity to work on other projects maybe follow his passion for theatre. From my understanding, dramatic series requires very long hours and lots of pressure; Mr. Peterson could benefit from a change.

It is sad to see him leave. He is such a great talent. Now, if David Caruso would leave, that would be a happy occassion. Nobody would miss HIM.

H'Lover--since you are extremely biased (!!) regarding David Caruso--speak for yourself and not others.

Well, fact is Petersen is a way BETTER ACTOR than Caruso. Millions of people are sad to see him go. Would caruso quit I doubt more than a handful of people would miss him.

Emily, You know she'll turn this into a "hate Caruso" thread rather than the "Grissom leaving" thread, with no consideration for anyone else. Don't let her do it.
Grissom will be back from time to time, no problem. I'm anxious to see who his replacement will be. I know Malkevich turned down the role. Haven't heard about Fishburne (who would be great) or any others.

William Petersen will always be a way better actor than Caruso. He upstages David Caruso by far.
Anyway, I neither see Malkovich nor Fishburn as a good replacment. Why not giving the job to a woman for a change?
One thing is for sure - William Petersen will leave a HUGE VOID to fill.

"One thing is for sure - William Petersen will leave a HUGE VOID to fill."
So will you when you're gone, which just proves a void is not always a bad thing.

My main reason for commenting, was to point out to H'Lover not to speak for others. Her derogatory comments about David Caruso go without saying. Unfortunately, whatever post is made on any subject she turns into a hate remark--duh. I resent when H'Lover makes generalized comments that seem to include everyone in her twisted, nauseating rants when, in fact she is the only one doing so. I admired the character of Grissom on CSI and have always been a fan of William Peterson. I wish him the best. As for H'Lover--Katie Lynn I agree 100% with you.

The Past:

(1) CSI's have had to kill in the line of duty (and not just by accident).

(2) Grissom is a crack shot.

(3) Warrick is perhaps Grissom's closest friend among the CSI's and Grissom once called him "the rock of my team".

(4) Under-sheriff Jeff McKean has been giving off bad vibes; if not actually being portrayed as a "baddie" from nearly the first few episodes after his character was introduced.

The Present:

(1) The Under-sheriff has shown his true colors as a "bad cop" - he is corrupt, and has now shot Warrick in cold blood.

(2) Warrick is (likely) dead.

The Future:

(1) The team, working together; will investigate Warrick's shooting; and will find out that Under-sheriff McKean did it. (That's the whole point of this show and all "cop shows" - to find out "Whodunit" and bring the "bad guys" to justice.)

(2) The CSI's are human - and will face the conflict between their professionalism (upholding the justice system); and desire to avenge Warrick's death.

(3) Grissom, more than all the rest; will feel this conflict.

A possible Scenario:

(1) Grissom will wind up confronting McKean alone.

(2) He will be torn between vengeance and "bringing him in."

(3) Grissom will end up being forced to kill the Under-sheriff.

(4) His feelings about doing this will precipitate his re-assessment of his role as a CSI.

(5) This will be how Gil Grissom comes to depart the LVPD Crime Lab.

It's just an idea.

greggymac12 wrote a very good comment; H'lover completely ignored it to get the last word over Emily:

Yo'all will notice H'lover's lunacy doesn't respond in any way to any other poster. BTW, H'lover, I will not miss Petersen. I am not a fan. I would miss Caruso. As Emily says, YOU cannot speak for others. As a matter of course, YOU should NEVER speak for anybody.

HenryPatty--I'm sorry your post has been overtaken by the demented ramblings of H'Lover--a known troll (and stalker). If one dares to question her--well, you can see the results. I state again--she does not speak for anyone but herself. Just because she has bizarre delusions about David Caruso she feels she represents everybody in her hate-inspired rants. Too bad, too sad-- she does not. I agree with your original post--and feel the same as you do. Sorry you got "slimed" by the fall out.

HenryPatty--I'm sorry your post has been overtaken by a group of Caruso fangirls. If one dares to question the medicore lead of CSI Miami - well, you can see the results.
The big irony being here that they see the need to defend David Caruso on a CSI related topic. Question remains WHO really hijacked this great topic.
Fact is William Petersen is a great actor with lots of talents and charisma. Be it on TV or in theater. Things David Caruso clearly lacks.

We wish the great William Petersen all the best. He will be sorely missed.

Well Emily--they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery--pretty obvious, you should be thrilled to death at the flattery that's been shown here. I mean, word for word--of course, when originality is so difficult to offer forth, I guess copying you is supposed to show her superiority (uh--right).

Actually, all it shows, is a delusional and warped little mind. Who, by copying your post, and rewording it to suit her twisted attempt to once again have the last word. How sad is that? You made a sincere attempt to HenryPatty--while the less than stellar response speaks volumes. Of course, any rational mind reading it can make that distinction. It is fascinating that she started this by acting like she speaks for the world and yet, when you called her on it--she twists it to blame you for creating the problem--!!!!!!!. Loony logic at it's finest!

Hmmmm--the only one that falls under the label "Caruso fan-girl" seems to be H'Lover herself. She constantly brings him up--I'm afraid, her fan-crush just overpowers her. Any doubts? Just go and check her posts--his name is everywhere--how sweet. Disturbing. But sweet.

P.S. PatMc--since she's copying what I write--maybe she should hire me--at least her spelling and content would improve.:^O
