« The Two Coreys
Great Show
I am absolutely fascinated by this show. I haven't seen season 1 as I only heard about the show a few weeks ago.
I just saw the episode featuring the Lost Boys 2 shoot. My heart was aching looking at Haim as he struggled through. Why didn't someone quietly get him out of that shoot earlier on? It was clear something wasn't right when Haim was in make-up.
I was originally interested in "THE TWO COREYS" because growing up I adored their movies. Now however I watch because I am fascinated by its exposition of the highs and lows of celebrity, addiction (the highs and lows also I guess), changing relationships, aging, and so much more.
It's a pity the show is so back-dated, next show features Valentine's Day antics. I'd love to know how the guys have been doing over the past few months.
Previous forum posts suggests that the show is scripted. With reality shows I don't mind that houses are rented by production or that participants children are not on the show. I agree that certain events in this show seem contrived - (e.g. Feldman choosing to hire THAT assistant, Feldman's tears in the therapists office post Lost Boys 2 debacle (what a horrible cynic i am). Still I find it hard to believe Season 2's events are following a script too closely. It certainly feels like there are some ugly truths bubbling under the surface of this show. I hope they'll give us credit and someday let us in on the reality behind this reality show.
Meanwhile I'll keep watching and rooting for the guys.
Oh one side note - I wish Mr. Haim would stop driving that Hummer. He'd look so great in a Prius!
Happy Valentine's Day y'all
