Mia leaves in bad taste

Just as the judges are about to declare the loser, Mia interrupts to demand they not send Elia home. She’d rather sacrifice herself, she claims. It’s a false plea, used mainly to get sympathy for herself. http://blog.meevee.com/my_weblog/2006/12/top_chef_2_bye_.html#more

Any opinions on her exit last episode? I thought she was overly dramatic about pretty much everything. I'm not niave; I know the wonders of editing. That said, they can only edit what you actually give them.

I never had any problems with her before. She wasn't a favorite of mine, but didn't really get on my nerves until this episode.

She's been getting on my nerves for the last few episodes and I've wanted to see her go for a while now. Her final plea to save Elia didn't make me sympathize for her. She would have gotten the boot anyways that night. I really believe that. Cliff was right when he said she wanted to look like the martyr. She should have left long time ago. Thank god she's gone now.

I don't know what the heck was wrong with her. I would have let the judges judge....period.
After listening to her whinning I am glad she is gone. I never would have picked her to be the one, though. She did her best out at the table being embarrased by no food.

I didn't understand this woman at all just all over the place. Then went into a rant about being "thrown under the bus" and the profanity in front of the judges made her look real ghetto, I was embarassed for her bc I don't think she had the sense to be for herself.

It' a shame too bc I was w/her she had a very valid point, (re: the chef who had immunity) but its effectiveness was lost on me w/her delivery she was tacky. There'no way I would sacrifice my place for another competitor since this is a "competition" shut up and let the judges decide. She got all arrogant "I've got a successful business blah, blah glad she packed her knives and went.
