Regarding the Jump the Shark on L&O; SVU--I watch this show mostly for Munch and Fin. Why are Elliot and Olivia the only main characters when the others are much more enjoyable to watch? Even the captain is entertaining, so more of them please, and less The Olivia and Elliot show. Some of the best shows are the ones that feature Richard Belzer and Ice T in larger roles.

BRING BACK MUNCH AND GIVE US MORE FIN.

JEERS to NBC, Dick Wolf and Neal Baer at Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for slashing Richard Belzer's episodes in the series from 22 to 13.

Those of us who watch SVU for the acerbic, intellectual and snarky Det. Sgt. John Munch are very disappointed to see Belzer's involvement with the show be so constrained. I smell the stench of ageism, despite Belzer's Munch having been primarily responsible for bringing over a dedicated fan base to the show, from his previous stint on "Homicide: Life on the Street." Those who loved seeing Munch verbally spar with his streetwise partner, Fin Tutuola, are also mourning the fact Ice T has been paired with Adam Beach instead, their partnership barely lukewarm at best.

I agree wholeheartedly with "ticamo" who wrote in in support of the wonderful Carmine Giovinazzo on CSI:NY. He is a fantastic actor. His recent work on CSI:NY where he was with a young neighbor boy who gets killed was heartbreaking. Especially the scene in the hallway of his apartment building when he has to tell the boy's mother that the boy isn't ok. I cried! Give Carmine more credit and the Emmy!!

Jeers to Law and Order: SVU for giving away the twist in the 1/8 episode in the preview on 1/1.

In the preview aired after the 1/1 episode last week, they showed Special Agent Cooper played by Erika Christensen sitting in the interrogation room as a suspect. It took away a lot from an otherwise stellar episode to know from the beginning of the episode that she was criminally involved in the case as a suspect. Please be more careful about what you show in the preview, NBC.

Jeers to BBC America for airing "Dancing with the Stars"--the American version of the UK's "Strictly Come Dancing."

I watch BBCA to see the best of British-made television, not BBC-produced American-made television. DWTS was tweaked from its original to appeal to American audiences. Even if I hadn't watched it on ABC when it first aired, I don't want to see Americanized television on one of the few networks dedicated to giving American audiences something different. I'd rather watch "Strictly Come Dancing," even if I don't know who the celebrities are. Half the time I don't know who the celebrities are on "Dancing with the Stars" anyway. Next thing you know, BBCA will start airing reruns of the American version of "The Office" because Ricky Gervais executive produces it and hey, he's British!

Jeers to Cashmere Mafia! This Sex and the City rehash seems about as fresh and original as one of Carrie's nameplate necklaces. Lucy Liu is wasted, Miranda Otto seems lost, and the rest of cast mugs their way through trite storylines and lame dialouge.
Hey, ABC I already watch a show about well-dressed, bitchy New Yorkers. It's called Gossip Girl and unlike the Mafia- it's acutally entertaining!

Jeers to Project Runway for getting rid of another designer more talented than Ricky. Kevin was in the top 3 four times. Ricky has been in the bottom 3 four times, and two of those were the bottom 2. Kevin was definitly a top contender this season, while I fear Ricky will go the same way as Wendy.

Jeers to the CW for once again giving the finger to the fans of Supernatural by replacing it with Reaper, (which in my opinion isn't even half the show that Supernatural is) after it airs it's final episodes. It could have been placed in another day and time to show reruns (LIKE THE OTHER CW SHOWS WILL DO EVENTUALLY AFTER THEY AIR FIRST-RUNS) but no, they decide to take it off and not even mention it in their recent press release!! It really goes to show that the CW doesn't give a crap about one of it's better shows (if not the best) or it's fans. Heck, it's the fans who are the ones promoting it! The CW would rather promote Gossip Girl or Reaper and some reality crap.

Jeers to TVGuide and TVGuide.com for its ENDLESS coverage of Project Runway. I realize that the writers are on strike (please.......somebody.....end that thing.....soon), but is this the ONLY show with new episodes currently on air? Enough already.

Jeers to TVGuide.com for continuing to place ads with embedded video on its webpages!

Ads with embedded video do not play nicely with the ubiquitous Internet Explorer browser most of us use. There is some sort of inherent incompatibility between IE and Flash 9 (which ads with embedded video use) that has been going on since Flash 9 was first introduced (over a year ago - longer than the writers strike). Despite many tweaks by Macromedia (Flash) and Microsoft (IE), they haven't been able to fix it.

Those ads cause the browser to freeze and force you to reboot and pray that the offending ad doesn't show up again. Please TVGuide.com, have pity on your devoted users and can those ads until the Flash/IE war ends!

CHEERS to CBS for recognizing a growing trend for shows about supernatural crime-fighters and ordering additional scripts for Moonlight, which just won the People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama.
JEERS to Lifetime for ignoring the same trend and suddenly yanking their original supernatural detective series, Blood Ties, off the air after promising fans a full 2nd season and then making the last 2 episodes available online only, much to the fans' disappointment, especially the hearing and visually impaired.

CHEERS to Law & Order (original recipe), for still bringing it hard! This show has been on for about 75 years and is still as relevant and thought provoking as ever. Special cheers to Jeremy Sisto for being the new king of "less is more", his character is the perfect addition to the cast. Also congrats for the uninterrupted string of hot ADA's, beauty and brains is awesome. Does it seem like I'm missing a B in there somewhere?

Jeers & Cheers!
Jeers to the Lifetime Network for it's lack of acknowledement of it's Blood Ties fans massive response to it's message board, repeated email's, and other communications regarding the renewal of the show. Apparently Lifetime does not find it's viewers important enough to respond.
Cheers to Eonline's Watch with Kristin's column "Could Blood Ties Come Back" for acknowledging those very fans and taking the time to research and respond to them.

Cheers to the cast and crew of Blood Ties you have done an excellent job and we love the show and definitely want more. I have to admit when I first saw which station it was airing on I hesitated, but after watching it was completely hooked along with 1.4 million others. Even with little or no promotion the fan base continues to grow and this show is a hit.

Jeers to Lifetime Network for the way the have treated fans they have gained from airing Blood Ties. They took a chance and aired a show outside of their norm and even with little or no promotion came up with a hit that have fans clamoring for more. The network has a real chance with this show to continue to grow its base of viewers, but slow or no response to fan inquiries is leaving a very sour taste for the network.

Hope they realize what a gem they have in this well produced show as well as the need to treat those watching their network better to retain viewers.
