« Calista Flockhart
Am I the only Calista Flockhart fan here?
I find it hard to believe I'm the first to post in this forum!

You are not alone. I have been a fan of Calista Flockhart ever since her Ally McBeal days, and have remained a fan even though she just recently resurfaced in "Brothers and Sisters".

I actually loved her in Ally McBeal. It was such an original and funny script at the time. Really showing us what goes on in people's heads when they communicate.
We see one thing on the outside, but what is happening inside may be completely different! It was a deep concept, that got a little far-fetched toward the end. Maybe that's why it's not on the air anymore. I don't know... do you?
On a side note, Calista graduated from the same high school as I did -- Shawnee High!

What year did you graduate, Kesava?
Calista graduated from high school in 1982 or 1983, right? Then from Rutgers University in 1988 or 1989, not so?
I've been building a bio of her at one of my websites:

I'd appreciate any help, comments or suggestions!
I first saw her on Leno in 1998, while serving in Korea. By 9-11 I was watching Ally McBeal everyday (I'd record it on my DVR)!
I think the show was cancelled for various reasons, but one of the biggest was probably the loss of Robert Downey, Jr. I've read that the episode entitled "The Wedding" was supposed to feature his character, Larry Paul's wedding to Ally McBeal, but didn't end up featuring any wedding after his arrest for possession/abuse of cocaine.
BTW, I'm currently serving in Afghanistan, so I have not been able to watch any of Calista's new TV series, "Brothers & Sisters." A friend of mine is recording it for me, but he's already missed the first two or three episodes. Hopefully, he'll catch reruns. Otherwise, I guess I'll be waiting for the DVD collection to hit the market!
I read this morning that it's going to run a full season, so it should also appear on DVD, eventually!

I'll be praying for your safe return. My brother in law just left a few days to go back to Iraq.

Thanks for the kind wishes, preacher's wife! Unfortunately, not everyone feels the same way about me. For example, the Narnian Monopods in Hayley's forum at:
www.calistaflockhart.org
That's perhaps the best Calista Flockhart related site on the Internet, inspite of the Narnian Monopods who inhabit it.
I wish your brother-in-law a safe return, also.
So, what do you find so addictive about "Brothers & Sisters"?
BTW, did you all see that it's done so well that it's been picked up for a full season?
