Death and Laughter

Meth abuse has reached epidemic status , kids and adults snort , smoke , inject this cheaply and easily 'cooked' substance and ruin their lives and those around them . Breaking Bad finds humor in the suffering . I believe there are millions of Americans that have been deeply hurt directly or indirectly by meth use and find the show mocking their deepfelt sorrows . The unusually huge promotion of the show is annoying and callous . If it's so entertaining to laugh at death , forget the commercials and testomonials , run the show and see if this is what the public wants . Breaking Bad is a tribute to televisions lack of sensitivity and creativity .....watching people poop will be next.

I absolutly love this show, i can't get enough of it. I know first hand how serious meth is and the pain it leaves on the addict and their familes but to me this show is so similar to the real life of meth abuse in many ways. The reality of it though also helps remind me how miserable it make you and how much i never want to go back to that life.

I love the show too! I have had many encounters with meth and the affects that is has on family, friends and society and in no way do I think that this show is callous or uses meth as a crutch for humor. Not true!

This show concentrates on what a dying man will do to make sure his family will not be saddled financially when he dies. Meth is only a tool that he has used to help him help his family.

Personally, I love the show...I've never been involved in drugs though I know numerous people who have, I recognize it as a serious problem...for SOME people. What this show did for me was to enlighthen me on the reason why I can no longer buy cold meds at the store ( I previously thought it was just another control issue by our government)
.... I hope new episodes air soon, I miss it.
and for all those who think that we shouldn't air shows that "glorify" social issues .... perhaps plucking their heads from their butts, they would see that hiding problems doesn't make them go away.
